Every saleable asset has gone.

Not a bolt has been spent.

We dont even have a manager.

We dont even have a shiney new stand.

But weve still got Romanov.

It will happen if we are patient.

Wont it?

Hmm it seems more and more like no big money will be spent unless on a speculate to accumulate basis (less likely after the Webster ruling).

Planning has been submitted for the stand.

It might have happened sooner had the council not been so damn awkward.

Agree with you re the manager.

I'd have happily have settled for JJ or someone fairly low 'wow' factor, just to help us in the medium term.

We are in a bad place just now.

But I still have a morsel of hope left.

Am I right in thinking managers aren't subject to the transfer window...so we could get someone later....

He will never spend again like 05-06. End of story. Youth is the only way forward for us.

then im afraid we will never challenge the old firm again,,,,any young players will be poached by the bigot brothers, yesterdays Webster ruling makes it even easier for them than it did before...

The proposed stand is all we have got to hold onto. if it was not for that there would be nothing to sugest assett stripping was not happening. in a sense, it still appears like an assestt strip.......we are being run as a make weight as Vlads tax haven!

How much did he acually spend though on transfers? Most of the good players were already there - Gordon, Pressley, Webster, Hartley. Loads of players came in on Bosmans but it was really the addition of Fyssas, Skacel & Brellier in addition to what we already had that made that team of 05/06. The rest of the team was pretty average - Bednar, Janny, Neilson, Miko, Camazolla, Elliot, etc, although admittedly Janny was good in his first season but he didn't score many goals.

The biggest outlay must have been on wages as we've got so many fecking players.
