Mr Romanov Saviour of HMFC Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 A long shot this but JKB has all sorts on it so why not! My (old) Ipod has just went completely blank and is not charging. I'm guessing that's the battery fecked but has this happened to anyone else? Is there anyway to fix it? Cheers.

pammiep Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Same thing happened to my son's ipod before Christmas. Bought him the new itouch and now his ipod is working again. He was told to 'hold down buttons' and it fixed it.

What buttons do I push or is it the newer one this works on? Old Skool! To reset iPod, iPod (scroll wheel), iPod (touch wheel), and iPod (dock connector) 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.) 2. Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
