Hearts move for Moutinho

Unfortunately Didier, Cristiano and Emmanuel have turned us down so we'll just have to go for "pish".

:P

What about Neil MacFarlane? I just wish that Romanov'd get over his bizarre dislike of him, anyone can see that we've gone into freefall since he left.

Even Falkirk fans thought that Moutinho was pish until he went on a wee scoring run this season, they wouldn't be gutted to see him go.

Underwhelming really

Celtic get Robson, Rangers get Alexander, The huns alexander, dailly and anyone else they sign, hibs nish and rankin

and we get him and screpsis

Even Jim Hamilton would excite me more

If this is the best we can do, top 6 is not likely

OK - I give in.

What are you on about?

Too many commas in one sentence by the way.

No there weren't. You're wrong. I'm right.

There should be a comma before "by" in your last sentence, by the way.

He'll do if we get a couple of others in the same mould.

Wont be challenging the OF with players of that standard but could well help to salvage the season and get 4th or 3rd.

Moutinho vs Nish - who has scored more SPL goals? Nish by a mile I would imagine. How bad does that make Moutinho?!

You started it, lad.

Just to get back on topic, Moutinho's still pish.

I'll take that as a compliment. :)

Topic - no he's not.

I'm right. You're wrong.

Are you actually Pedro Moutinho, lad?

More like the quality of player needed... imo

Yeah - if we actually get him, that's the first tangible sign for long enough that Romanov is paying attention to someone who knows what they're talking about.

Decent player who would be a boost to the team not just another body in the squad.

Great! We go for a striker when we really need 2 brand new full backs, great scouting Hearts...................NOT!

The fact that Neil Alexander and Christian Dailly excite you more than Muthino and a player that nobody has seen yet makes me question why you follow Hearts or indeed any other football team. Many of us use Hearts as a release from the every day realities but you seem to thrive upon the potential negativity of it all!

From what I've seen of this guy he looks quite good at times but also looks lazy at times.

Also remember him blatantly dving to try and get a penalty at Tynecastle...and not getting booked.

Excellent.

We need more divers who don't get booked.

I've always thought he was pretty decent and could be the man to play in the hole behind Velicka/Nade if we are going to persist with 4-4-1-1.

yogi rotates quite a lot, but moutinho features playing behind the two main strikers quite a lot.

they see him as a natural replacement for latapy when he chucks it.

We haven't filled the hole man position since Hartley left , Colin Cameron was

another who could support the strkers and make late runs into the box .

Stewart dosen't do this enough , could be down to the tactics being used at

at the club though .

Moutinho dosen't exactly set the heather on fire though mmmm , is he better

than what we have got or do we not just need a MANAGER

He's scored against us this season.

Beniusis scored against us this season :)

Moutinho might do a job for a bottom 6 team trying to get up the league though

Dunno about you but I'd rather have Moutinho everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

The reason we haven't got players as good as Rangers or Celtic is that we're as big as them.

I quite like him, at least he has got something that not one of our 'strikers' have...the ability to go past players towards the danger areas!

Not seen to much of him from what i have seen he looks decent without being great. Looks to have a few tricks without any real end product. If it pushes Clum and Useless down the pecking order then he may be worth a bash.

JEEZ.

Are we spoiled or what.

Good player, very good signing if it comes off.

I would have taken Gow in a heartbeat before he went to hibernate his career the Ibrox wasteland. Great prospect.

I, personally, would be delighted if they both signed.

Any time I've seen him he has been a bit of a diver. Not this passes pretty much without action from the Referees or comment from the media. Now if he was to sign for Hearts.............................

FWIW, I'd take him.
