To talk about all the lesser clubs which don't have Jamestown excitement in their transfer window.

For a start, see Barcelona are in for Anthony Gordon from Newcastle? That's an even bigger surprise than Rashford.

They were a big deal about 14 years ago, no longer operating but there's a similar, less successful team who use their badge & stadium.

I have heard such tales. I thought it only myth. They also say that all bowed before them and serviced their every whim. But no longer. There is now a new regime to bow before.

I do find it interesting the English players the top European teams look at.

Anthony Gordon to Barcelona looks on.

It was either on Hearts on Sleeves or Perth to Paisley podcast, a recommendation of a page that summarises transfer news in Scotland? Apparently had a good dig at Hibs. Anyone know what the page is?

aftet the success of Kane, Rashford and Olise mate there will be a few more.  The English are producing top players at the moment.

Yep. Thankfully the national manager doesn’t fully realise that.

Dont know if its this one, but this is the best page I find for saying who has signed and left Scottish clubs

Dunfermline releasing a few including ex Jambo Chris Hamilton. Dont know where Matty Todd is heading - not sure that we weren't one of a number of clubs looking at him although that was pre JTA. Also had interest from Italy (again a while ago).

Is Matty Tod the one with the specs? Not suggesting him for us but he's looked decent the few times I've seen him play

Nah that’s Andy Tod (singular D). Matty Todd is a bit older and a midfielder.

Ahh. I thought the two Tod(d)s were brothers. You can tell i don't pay much attention to Dunfermline

Oh they are, Andy and John are the Tod brothers.

Matty is separate and unrelated

Thats a good signing for Dundee Utd.

I'm a bit disappointed we didn't throw our hat in the ring on that one. Do appreciate that JTA will identify better players, but retaining a Scottish core to our team is important IMO.

Thinking positively.

We already have 3 in, and another 3 on the verge of signing.

Celtic still don't have a manager or head of recruitment, with no real rumors of who it could be other than giving the pensioner another season

Spencer made him look better than he is.

Wouldn't argue with this.

Will be a hell of a rebuild McGlynn has on his hands there. Tait, Henderson, Stewart and Miller all likely to be leaving.

Pars fans reckon Matty Todd is off to St Johnstone. Was highly rated as a youth so could kick on there. Had a series of bad injuries including a broken collarbone.

Exactly, yet everyone thinks they won’t be as bad as last season, whilst their brothers in bigotry are signing free transfers.

John McGlynn has a good eye for a player and I reckon he will rebuild a decent side to keep Falkirk up much along the same style of playing

Hope so!

Wondering if Macaluley Tait could be a good loanee there. Spencer clearly a good influence on those players around him, so could be a brilliant chance for him to play in a decent footballing team.

Surprised to see Ewan Otoo in there, unless he has already been snapped up by another club. Has been highly rated at Dunfermline, though missed most of the second half of the season (presumably he was injured.)

And we all saw how bad their January recruitment was as well.

Barely any minutes for any of them, and virtually no impact really.

They could be in trouble if they don't get their act together.

Here's hoping they think they don't need to do anything since they won the league still

Yeah might be one positive from their tainted title.

Though he’s as French as Aidan Mcgeady is Irish if you get my drift. Was just a general point around how good the English were at bringing through players

Celtic still basically signing players from Wyscout and recommendations from agents with ties to directors and with club sympathies

it’s no coincidence there signing policy is such a disaster
