It our board let the gfa cheat us out of the title I don't care who we play. I will neither be watching in person or at home.  I'm done.

The SFA have more power than us. Abandoning your team because they’re up against a malicious SFA/SPFL/Celtic tag team is a pretty shit move.

I think Villa will be finishing 5th. They are in the Champs league regardless and will have a few sore heads.

Will Liverpool have enough to do Brentford? Probably.

Can only hope City too have had enough and its a drunken draw, and Pep literally just confirmed

Yes, a good thing for football, nothing against City really, never bothered me as a fanbase or club, manipulation of systems are now being investigated and that can only be good generally.

It means stronger teams take Villa's place in the CL qualifiers, as their CL spot goes to someone else in England.

Essentially helps us avoid some of the big guys in our qualifying game.

Think it puts us in with Sturm Graz.

Good explanation here:

It was bad enough the Hearts preview of Fenerbahce telling us about Ederson, Amrabat, Kante etc. Now looking to sign Mason Greenwood.

Fenerbahce for the trip but Sturm Graz to get past that qualifying round and guarantee ourselves league stage of the Europa.

For shits and giggles only.

Should we make It through to CL Q3, do we know who we would be in the draw.

Just wondering if it is limited to teams that qualified and haven't played any other ties.

You'd rather go to turkey than austria?

Really?

I had a few days in Istanbul last autumn. The good news is that it's a fabulous city to visit with some of the world's most important cultural sites.

The Blue Mosque https://tv.stmirren.com/events/140000795

Hagia Sofia          Hagia Sophia - Wikipedia

Topkapi Palace   Topkapi Palace Museum | The Heart of the Ottoman Empire

The bad news is that the last two are expensive to visit (around £45 for a day ticket, I think), but worth it if you like world history. The Blue Mosque is beautiful and free.

The good news is that beer is quite cheap, around £3 for a decent lager. Food is very reasonably priced, and if you have one of their enormous breakfasts with loads of meat, eggs, cheese, and sausages, you won't need to eat for the rest of the day, but you will fart a lot. Restaurants serve wine, but it's expensive. We found good self-catering at a reasonable price. The famous covered markets were a bit of a waste of time, just enormous 16th-century shopping malls with rip-off prices. There are loads of cats, but they're infested with fleas.

I might go for 3 dental implants, they're a minimum of £2.5K a pop here, not overly keen on that :pimp2:

So beat Stum Graz and we are rewarded by being pumped in either France, Norway, Greece or Turkey.

At least we’ll know we’re in the Europa league.

Turkish football is absolutely riddled with players taking a final pay cheque. Basically the European version of the MLS.

Have they finished the Blue Mosque repair? Lining up for 20 mins to look up at scaffolding and plastic sheeting was the biggest disappointment of the Basaksehir trip for me.

My missus has an uncanny ability to book holidays for when tourist attractions are under renovation.
Venice: Doges Palace was covered in tarpaulin.
Marrakesh: Bahia Palace was half closed including the garden area.

Barcelona: Sagrada Família hadn't even been finished yet!

Away to Sorrento in 10 days or so fully expecting to look across the gulf to see Vesuvius under a massive tarpaulin.

Not decided yet and if it was, the seeded side would get the benefit you’d imagine.

Lovely place, lots of people go to Capri for the day but we did a boat trip to Positano, beautiful town though very steep hill. As for the wine, lots of variety in the shops, saw this red to accompany a fish dish.

It’s the opposite is it not ? Unseeded team at home first

Hobos were away to Mydittland and Partizan first last year, then home first when they took Partizans seeding

They will at least get into the round of 16 IMO, so July 4th to 7th.

Bit of a group of death they are in, especially if Australia have anything about them. Should have enough for 3rd place though

Doesn't leave a lot of time to recover, how they would approach that, not sure, can't help them if thats who we end up with, slight glimmer

The Home/Away order isn't based on seeded/unseeded its done as part of the draw.

To clear this up I checked the competition rules on the UEFA website. Article 14 confirms that the home/away thing is determined within the draw, not based on seeding
