I'll watch anything with Idris Elba or Denzel Washington in. I'm rarely let down.

Also, Tommy Lee Jones, even though he can be a bit of a ham.

Four of the best movies I've ever seen, Some Like It Hot, The Apartment, The Odd Couple and The Front Page and Jack is in all of them.

About 30 odd years ago him and his wife spent a day at a theatre I worked in during the fringe and watched every show sitting between shows in the bar having some food and drinks. Fairly starstruck to see him but left them in peace as everyone did. It was very nice to chat to the bar staff and ushers at the post work lock in and hear they were both lovely people and polite and appreciative of all the staff.

He sounds exactly like I thought/hoped he would be.

A thoroughly nice bloke by all accounts.

And in 'Becket' with Richard Burton, which was almost a companion piece to The Lion in Winter. You might enjoy this short clip of Anthony Hopkins talking about working with O'Toole and Hepburn -

Yes he was an incredible actor . His scenes with Hepburn were high notch acting . She won best actress Oscar for it ( a tie with Barbra Streisand ) but he sadly was one of Oscar’s unlucky losers . Shameful . Hopkins has spoke very fondly  of working with these two giants of the screen . Think it was his film debut . Timothy Dalton is also in it . Some scintillating dialogue the film .

What a showman he's been.

And when he fooled us all into thinking he was a genuine east Londoner?

Flawless!
