Only the most loyal wil be at darkheid so if you’ve got a ticket then you deserve to be there. The correct call for this game imo.

highlandjambo3 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Anyone ITK regarding an open bus parade (ok a bit premature I know). I’m travelling down to Edinburgh Wednesday 13th till Saturday on a short break which was booked last year. I’ll be heading back north at about 10am Saturday 16th (yes massively inconvenient 😳). Dilemma for me is the parade being Sunday 17th as players & staff will want to go on holidays asap so, I stay I’m faced with a situation of I stay and my wife drives back or, I drive back drop her off then return to Edinburgh. We need to come back North as we have guests checking in over that weekend so we both can’t stay in Edinburgh. Its a fair bet that provisional planning has been put in place as something on this scale can’t be done at the last minute. Sorry but, I’m going to post this on a couple of threads.

Big screens on the pitch may be a push time wise, but all the hospitality suites and potentially a big screen on the plaza? With the small allocation at Parkhead the pubs in Gorgie will be rammed so would be a good opportunity to accommodate as many fans as possible and contribute to what will hopefully be the most monumental of parties for the bus coming back (they’ll deserve the welcome even if its a poor outcome). Good point.....as long as Hearts hand out to every person entering Tynie, a complimentary Imodium tablet to be taken before the kick off 🤯

Hope IF happening, its timed so folk (eg later in the afternoon) can see the ladies match, as its massive (and should be held at Tynie rather than Oriam) OR Ask for a deferment of 24 hours for the womens game ? (mind you if I was Glasgow City I'd refuse, as it would guarantee nearly 20k folk potentially celebrating and intimidating the GC players....or more likely IF occurring, that there'd be about 19k+ there with bloody awful hangovers and bring down the atmosphere, so an ironic aid to GC 😃 ?)

IF there was a parade, would be a great call to hold the women's game in Gorgie at the 16:10 kick off, open the doors to the already partying fans and oil the place... All sorts of logistical, practical and sporting reasons why not though.

Watch the game, have a few scoops and plenty of time to get a train back to watch the champions arrive back in Gorgie. If I was local and there was definitely nothing being organised at Tynecastle I would 100% consider it.

If needed I trust the team and Mcinnes to get the required result

I could not tolerate watching Hearts loose the league on the last day of the season…..again.
