23/24 he was outstanding and it still annoys me Clarke didn't get him on the pitch more in the Euros..

The season after he was poor by his high standards and I was happy enough to see him move on.. Happy to admit I was massively wrong. He's been immense and I think Del is a major part of that. Shanks also maybe with increased maturity is really looking like a captain and a guy who just gets it, being at Hearts leading the team, leading the line. He's such a great finisher and an intelligent player who hopefully we'll see in maroon for many seasons to come.

We’ve lost 5 league games this season. Shankland only played in 1 of them - the first away derby. 
 

That’s about as clear cut as it gets when it comes to his influence on the team. If he was fit I don’t think it’s daft to say we would have picked up points in those games against Aberdeen, St Mirren or Killie.
