I think Aberdeen have always tried to make out there is some sort of rivalry between us. I think for the most part Hearts fans couldn't care less about Aberdeen.

Yeah, it was strange. They were acting really bitter. Though I guess there could also be an additional element on jealousy in that they could have got Bloom and Jamestown but didn't.

Theres no way Motherwell will 'have the edge taken off them'.

They'll be out for revenge after the game at Tynie, make no mistake.

Their manager has said as much.

We need to absolutely be on it.

The way I see it aswell. Pity this isnt after OF game tbh. Would play to starve and smother their playmakers and space and see if we can nick it. **** going toe to toe with them. We would get mullered.

I'm a bit concerned that a lot of people, not just Hearts fans, are talking as if it's job done because we've beaten hibs and sevco.

I know McInnes won't allow it but it would be too easy to take the foot off the gas if we are not fully focused

This is far from over. Anyone thinking this is not thinking straight.

It’s not . But the players and Mcinnes will in no way be thinking that and that’s all that matters.

McInnes is a pragmatist and I think he'll play it out the way he thinks is more likely to get a result, if that means keeping it tight and hoping for a big moment from Braga or Shanks then that's how it'll go.

Just about recovered from Monday night. Now have the fear kicking in for Saturday. Emotional rollercoaster of what. Anyone else like this?

Us and Falkirk are this mobs toughest games. They haven’t beaten either of us.

We focus on ourselves.

As tough a game as this will be, we have a spring in our step now.

Absolutely. From the high of Monday I've had an  emotional crash. I feel like I've jinxed things by over celebrating....

Just win it Hearts and turn the amplifier up to 11.

Our tactics at tynie were spot on - we stood back and didn’t go to their keeper or defenders and they didn’t know what to do. Same again please

I think they might be prepared for that this time.

Del will have a plan.

Depends which Motherwell turns up. An on firm Well and we are in for a gell of a game. The team that lost to Falkirk and id expect yo win by a couple of goals.

Will we stick with the team thst started 3bd half v Rangers or will DM freshen things up? Milne? Devlin?

We win this and the title is ours. Even a draw keeps pressure on with OF playing Sun 🏆❤️

Will be a very difficult game. Just hope we carry forward the attitude of "let's show why we've been top of the table for so long" that we had 2nd half against Sevco, and don't retreat into a more tentative and timid mindset. Legend status awaits these players if only they can grasp it.

You are entitled to celebrate a massive win like that, you have not jinxed a thing.

I'm beyond the point of caring what the selection is, even when its blatantly wrong we sort it out. Wouldn't mind taking the lead for a change though, last time we led at half time was Aberdeen 28th Feb, since 0-1 Killie, 0-0 Dundee 1-1 Livi 0-0 Well 0-1 Vermin and 0-1 Huns.

There will be a lot of jealousy, do I want Aberdeen and Hibs fans to want us to win the league, absolutely not, proof we have damaged their heads

Absolutely where I’m at. Had in my head straight after FT that there’s no chance Rangers lose 3 games in a row so that they will definitely take points off Celtic. But now I’m thinking what if they do lose 3 in a row? What if we do lose to Well? Shiteing myself basically. I’m not sure I’m cut out for this league challenging malarkey! 😂

My only ask for those that are fortunate enough to have a ticket.

Become the 12th man. Be part of the team. Energy and positivity.  Get in early for the warm up , sing , shout . The team will feed off it before their final prep from Del. Double your efforts and sing your Hearts out for me and the 1000s that cant be there.

You've got an important job to do if you have a ticket. Perhaps on the footballing front the most important responsibility for the support in over half a century.

This league could well be won on teamwork, togetherness, passion.

Give it your all.

Yeah, I dont think the players went overboard on Monday, they got off the pitch reasonably quickly, if anything there was more of a reaction at Easter Road.

Emotional energy can be too easily expended, we have done nothing yet, than probably assure 2nd place, that must be high percentile probability.

2 wins probably still needed or a win and a draw at Parkhead, at least we know we are going to the final day at very worst, even with 2 defeats, that should not be so much a comfort blanket, as a confidence boost to play with freedom against Motherwell and Falkirk. I would be very much playing on this in the build up, what work has been done the last 2 games, has put us in a position that some more good work in these 2 matches will make 16th May as strong a place as we can possibly be.

You'll get used to it. It might take a season or two

Biggest game ever, well since the last game. I view the next two as must win, no way do I want to go to Parkhead on the last day and it’s on the line. I want them giving us a guard of honour in a largely empty parkhead.

I think we win this, though Motherwell have given us problems all season. I think our extra desire, will see us edge them out by a couple of goals in a tight game.

Feel more relaxed as I think there is a belief about this team and I think that may see that reflected in play in an improved 90min performance.

Can’t wait for the game.

No need to pressure the keeper. Take a draw if necessary and see what happens on Sunday. I think TFKAR will win it.

IMO we need nothing less than 3 points on Saturday or we will need to go to Parkhead needing something , and that won’t end well . This game needs to be a dead rubber if we are going to win the league

We've come through three very difficult fixtures against top six sides with maximum points and we need to focus 100% on three points on Saturday. Whilst I hope Rangers will get a result on Sunday I have no faith in them to do so. I expect Celtic to win and for them to get a result at Fir Park. I'll be absolutely over the moon if results work out favourably this weekend and gives us the chance to win it against Falkirk but I do expect it will come down to the final game.

This is THE game, the key to winning the league, in my opinion. I know McInnes has come out publicly & said he is prepared that it could go to the final game at Parkhead but inside the dressing room, they will know its this game that makes the difference. I do wonder how he will set the team up for this one. I feel sick just thinking about it & its only Tuesday.

It's certainly key to giving us the opportunity to win the league at home to Falkirk. I think it's pretty clear we'll go 3-5-2 for this one and we'll probably start with the XI that started the second half on Monday.

I was watching some analysis by that Rangers' supporting analyst, John Walker and he neatly broke down how we overcame Rangers. It actually made me quietly confident about Saturday as I think our second half set up vs Rangers is the same approach we'll take against Motherwell.

Motherwell 0 vs 1 Hearts.

hearts score in first 10-15 mins.

and 80 mins of watching the game thru the palms of our hands

Huge test , but it’s one this group of warriors can come thru.

Will play nicely into our tactics of chucking on half a team of centre half's for the last 10 minutes

That's not saying I think that's what should happen this weekend

How many tickets were Hearts given for this game? What is the Fir Park capacity these days?

Will never forget one of their fans "bet ye a tanner we'll beat ye" umpteen Moons ago, he wasn't the full shilling poor lad, no I didn't take the bet, and we won btw

I can't wear a scarf.  The last time I wore a scarf was at Kilmarnock and we got beat.  I also can't change my clothes, despite putting curry sauce down the front of a grey cardigan.  I have washed my pants and socks though.

Sorry if I upset anyone by not being in maroon or having a scarf on Saturday night.

In respect of Saturday's game have usual got the fear: their manager wants our ass; will be a very difficult game. If we win, fantastic, but right now I'd take a draw. Think the Huns will take at least a two points off the Tims, praying that it's all 3. Think Tims will beat Well, hope I'm wrong. Pleading that the stars align so we can win it v Falkirk.....if not I don't think I can watch the final game....

Their last eight results, most recent first: Falkirk 1-0 Motherwell, Rangers 2-3 Motherwell, Hearts 3-1 Motherwell, Motherwell 2-3 Falkirk, Motherwell 0-0 Hibernian, Celtic 3-1 Motherwell, Dundee 2-1 Motherwell, and Motherwell 2-0 Dundee United.
2 wins
