ramrod Posted April 6 Posted April 6 2 x wins v Well Beat Falkirk and Rangers at Tynecastle and get a draw at either Easter Road or Parkhead puts us on 80 points and that should be enough to win it imo. Definatley doable but we need to get a bit of belief back in the squad asap.

Our midfield has always been an issue but now our defence looks like it’s shit scared of any long ball, can’t find a pass and our strikers are not finding the net enough.

We are not taking that belief into away games. We look shit scared away from home. It’s all getting too much for me now 🙄 I wish it was June.

Getting draws at Parkhead and Easter Road look daunting to me right now. Let alone wins!

I get the sentiment but we've just failed to win away at a side that haven't won since August. We've failed to beat any of the bottom 3 away in recent weeks. Yesterday was the opportunity to arrest that sequence and we failed. Some parts of yesterday's performance were encouraging enough. The reaction to going 2-2 was really concerning imo. Celtic got outclassed at Tannadice a couple of weeks ago and Rangers scrambled a draw at Livvy a few weeks ago, plus they have 4 away games out of 6. 2.Things can change round quickly, we just need a pivitol win to get things going again. Could a fully flying Hearts get the results i've outlined ? Absolutely. Will we see a fully flying Hearts team again this Season ? Doesn't look like it atm, but we are in a fabulous position to win it if we do.

Clerry Jambo Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Unfortunately the hooped demons but we’re right in it obviously and just need to get a top performance hopefully starting Saturday. Milne coming back quickly would defo help

Cade Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Rather be on top and trying to stay there than be behind and trying to overtake. But it's a mighty big ask after this dodgy period of bad form and pish results.

dannymack Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Cant see us winning away at Parkheed, Easter Rd or Fir Park, the very best we'll get out of that is 2 points out of 9. I think we'll beat Falkirk and avoid defeat against Rangers.
Nobby Realson Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I have a horrible feeling the currant buns will win the league
Enzo Chiefo Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I've voted for us. I genuinely think Celtic are our biggest threat as I don't think Rangers have the bottle or quality to see it out. They imploded in successive weeks against Celtic and I think they'll lose the away games to both of us after the split.

Penrices left boot Posted April 6 Posted April 6 It a coin toss atm, but if we don't hit the split top- not us. I'd slightly favour Rangers as theyd have form and momentum, but they'd need to get some very good away results. In fact I'd say if we don't beat Motherwell I don't think we'll win it. If we go in at the top, and else being about equal, the rangers game stands out and I think we can beat them. Out of the 6 games we really need to win the 3 home as our away form is patchy at best, this would put us in a very strong position. Do that and we could even get beat at Parkhead and still be top. Rangers were a width of the post from drawing and everything being terrible it's really fine margins atm and every weekend it seems to take another twist. Short answer I'll stick with us if we beat Motherwell, not us if we don't.

dannymack Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Celtic will beat St.Mirren. Rangers will scrape by Falkirk. Hearts will scrape by Motherwell. Still top when we go into the split.

Beat at Kilmarnock and St Mirren, and drew with Livi. One point from three games against the bottom three clubs. That's what fans are concerned about.

Exile fae Main Street Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Celtic I'm afraid, they have us and the Huns at home. We had a fantastic chance, but didn't speculate to accumulate as it were, in the January window. The lack of urgency in the last half hour, and the whole of the Killie game kind of extinguished my hope...however I will say that IF we win on Saturday, I'm convinced that we'll win at Easter Road if that's the 1st game after the Split, and that could make it rather interesting. 🤎🤎🤎

Geoff Kilpatrick Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 Just now, Always the Hearts said: Do you seriously fancy this Hearts team to win at Parkheid, Easter Road and Fir Park? I always fancy us to win at Fester Road. I also think that if Falkirk can win at Fir Park, so can we. As for Fawlty Towers, I actually think we match up really well against them this season. We have 7 points out of 9 and I think I'm right in saying that the last manager we had to do that was Podgy Hands McLean of all people! So I don't rule anything in or out. Will we have to be better? Yes. The positive I take from Livingston is that we looked like scoring goals again. We picked a terrible day to turn into a shitshow at the back.
...andFulton'sBaggio Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Hearts. We're better against the top six sides. Still top. Win next week and it's ON. Let's ******* do this!!
