Hømme Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Fire away. I'm very much out of the loop this year but my picks for tomorrow are below. Marsh Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Getting too old now and can only handle two days in the boozer instead of the usual four Selections Mighty Park lulamba Sarasota Handstands The New Lion Madara Wade Out
Seaside Dave Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) Free bet treble 39/1 Old park Kopek Jagwar Lucky 15 Old park Glen to glen Will the wise Backmersackme Edited March 9 by Seaside Dave
Malinga the Swinga Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Hoping that home trainers manage to win some of the bigger races this year. Would be nice to shut the Irish up at Cheltenham before beating them on Saturday in the rugby
El Prez Posted March 9 Posted March 9 My free £2 from Skybet gone on: Old Park Kopek Jagwar Lossiemouth. E/W.
MoncurMacdonaldMercer Posted March 9 Posted March 9 champion hurdle golden ace 13/1 - much better horse at cheltenham unlike some of her rivals - way overpriced imo poniros 17/1 - was inconsistent on the flat so not sure what to expect but if he puts his best hoof forward could be thereabouts again for tony bloom
Victorian Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Not much enthusiasm. Maybe it's just day 1. Looks a bit meh. 1.20 Talk the Talk. 3.20 Iroko or Hyland but can't decide between them. 4.40 Zurich or Down Memory Lane. Ditto. Might do a mad 1×2x2 3-cross & 2x forecasts. Or not bother.

A few of my mates are big on Hyland.
N Lincs Jambo Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I'll be scouring the races over the next few days to see if Mr Bloom has any runners at high odds. He had a winner at 100/1 last year (Poniros). Poniros goes again today in the 1600 but current odds with SkyBet are 14/1 and he's no longer a complete unknown.

Hømme Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 Thought Mydaddypaddy was going to romp that there but got bumped and squeezed out in the run in. Will take the EW instead.
dav1e Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Old Park Star Kopek Des Bordes Winston Junior Quebecois The New Lion McLaurey Kurasso Blue
Victorian Posted March 10 Posted March 10 That Bet365 superboost (1/5 -> 1/1) just makes it look bent as. Neither hotpot goes in.
Victorian Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Missed out the 1.20. Just as well as one of my two was the one that tried to tunnel under the final flight. 3.20 Iroko & Hyland 4.40 Down Memory Lane & Zurich 5.20 Wade Out & King of Answers 2x2 doubles & 2x2x2 trebles.

Mrs Coates got a bit richer as that offer must have been lumped on.

Usually the bookies are up to something.
The Mighty Thor Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Lucky 15 on Sober Glory Kargese Saratoga Brighter days 1-1 do far. Hopefully wash the face and then on to tomorrow

Malinga the Swinga Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Most disappointing Champion Hurdle for a few years. Lossiemouth the best of an extremely average bunch of hurdlers especially when compared with previous champions. Just a shame that Henderson seems incapable of getting his horses fit for the big day as Sir Gino would have destroyed this lot. Don't get me started on his shambolic campaigning of Constitution Hill

El Prez Posted March 10 Posted March 10 3 winners on Bet365 giving me £2 bet credits so far. Waiting on Backmersackme. And made the princely return of £1.59 on that Skybet 4acca I posted earlier. Add that to Old Park...retirement still a while a way, yet.

Victorian Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Act of Innocence was unlucky. Traffic problems 3 or 4 furlongs out.
Victorian Posted March 11 Posted March 11 2nd and winner so far. That was some staying effort by Kitzbuhel. Two well backed favs so far haven't even been in the races.
