Diadora Van Basten Posted February 28 Posted February 28 It was reported that Trumps plan is for Israel to attack Iran then Iran retaliates and kills US military personnel this will then raise support for a war in the US public. Support for a war by the US public is only around 21% compared to 78% who supported the war in Iraq. At the State of the nation address by Donald Trump the only part of the speech applauded by both the Republicans and Democrats was the anti Iran rhetoric. The support in congress relates to the influence the Israel lobby has on American politics. The democrat members of congress in particular are going against the people they represent.
