Shanks - maybe missing 2 more games but likely 3, back for the Livi game

Beni - should be in the mix next week

Cammy - will miss next week but back for Killie

Findlay - doubt for Aberdeen but should be back for Killie

Ageu - ????

Hoff - ???

Pollock - ????

Kingsley - Had a set back think I saw he will be April before he's back, so the Livi game

McEntee - should be in the mix next week

Gordon - ????

If it’s just a grade 1 quad strain then possibly only a 1 week or 2. For him to out the rest of the seaosn it would need to be a grade 3 complete tear of the muscle

My hope is that he felt something which he felt nervous about because of the previous injuries and the scans shows that its very minor like you say. I do think they say that part of recovery for players is getting confidence that any feeling like that is nothing to worry about (and knowing when it is something to worry about.) I am sure that Andy Webster had that at Rangers due to bad injuries that he had, and so often was out. When he came to Hearts after he started doing the same, Jefferies basically told him you are not injured and keep playing and he got that confidence back and had few injuries.)

Is Kabangu injured or just completely dropped out of McInnes' plans? Given the relatively limited forward options, I'm surprised if he has just been completely dropped.

He was a sub yesterday, no?

He was but originally wasn't listed as a sub as Spittal had to play.

So presumably he was on an "emergency sub list" just incase.

You can forget Hoff, he has given up the ghost and been called out by other players re it.

Pollock was on way back until DM's physio pal got hold of him. Now muscle mass far worse than he was.

What dont you believe?

Shanks having a go at Hoff, Hoff only staying for the money, Hoff not renewing his car insurance as he expects to be leaving etc, etc....

As for Pollock, wont go into that as there is potential for legal action due to his care (or lack of).

What don’t I believe?

You.

Really need some returns in the injury department, in particular centre mid. Sounds like Beni & McEntee will be in contention for next week. Ageu I don't think anyone knows. Devlin will be the interesting one. I'd love to see him back for next week. Shankland is the biggest miss by a mile but thankfully its look like Aberdeen (H) and Killie (A) before he is back.

Need to pray Harry Milne doesn't get injured either. Kingsley having an additional 5 week setback is a nightmare. Milne was looking leggy on Saturday which is no surprise considering the amount of effort and running he puts in.

Big boost is Chesnokov. Another player who has an eye for goal. Wonder if we regret not getting another centre forward in. Elton isn't up to it, and I'm not sure Kabore is. I guess that is irrelevant now.

Thanks. I had missed that. I had looked at the subs bench before Ageu got injured in the warm up. Didn't spot that he had come onto the bench at that point. Not a great sign for him that he can't get onto the bench, even during an injury crisis.

Shanks and Hoff appeared on pretty jovial terms with each other yesterday.

This is true. I seen Hoff waiting on a Number 1 bus to Clerry.

The 2 week break will do Milne  the world of good. Last big effort this coming Saturday from the main man

Wouldn't be surprised if we get an update on Tuesday night as there is a Hearts Standard event with Derek McInnes that night.

"Hoff not renewing his car insurance"

I heard he also cancelled his Hello Fresh deliveries and has given notice to his window cleaner.

The only real miss is shanks - but we’re finding ways to win. Happy we have mccart so no issue re Findlay being injured although no cover for Milne is iffy. Pollock, Hoff, and even ageu can be excluded due to no or very limited time. Devlin, beni and mcentee due to return. Gordon, not sure. All in all, we are coping well

I heard he likes dirty windows to stop snoopers, and the Hello Fresh deliveries were just a January thing.

I was thinking this. What are the odds Clarke chooses now to call up half our squad tp 'take a look'

Cammy and Shankland coming back ASAP is extremely important.

Is Leonard Ok for Saturday? Somebody said he took a knock. Hopefully, Cammy makes the bench.

I read that at the Federation event in the Gorgie Suite on Sunday that he said he has had a "setback".  Maybe find out more from McInnes in his Hearts Standard event this week (tonight?)

What's DM's physio pal called?

It looks like Mags, Blair and possibly Beni or McEntee for CM on Saturday then? I guess Steinwender could play there too but I wouldn't like to see Milne moved to accomodate McCart.

Well, I’ve just checked and neither Barry Anderson nor Joel Sked have mentioned anything on Xitter. You’d think that this sort of news would be important enough to tweet about, so I suspect it’s rubbish.

I hope so

Injured XI (plus one):

Gordon

Borchgrevink    McEntee    Findlay    Kingsley

Devlin    Beni    Ageu

Kerjota    Shankland    Pollock

Sub: Nieuwenhof

It's nuts. Obviously, we hope to get a couple back very soon, but clearly this situation is really tough.

McEntee and Beni, could potentially play this weekend.

Devlin, Findlay, Shankland are really the only regulars we absolutely miss, the rest have played very little part, though obviously we will never forget the sub appearance at Dundee.

This sounds pretty bad all round!  (The link in the tweet doesn't currently go to the right place, mind you, so I've not seen the actual quotes yet)

Hoff will injure his injury in the warm up

No doubt it's a blow but nowhere near the levels of Devlin/Shanks injuries. We've got adequate cover for Findlay and we've got this far without Ageu. Please no more injuries from now on though:pray:

The slight / potential delays to returns for Devlin (now Killie or Dundee) and Shankland (now Motherwell) are probably the worst news of the lot.

Fingers crossed Beni and McEntee make it for the weekend.

Left side of defence looks very exposed with Kingsley and Findlay out.
