Exciting times. Hopefully we are strengthened in the market by winning the title and offering a shot at the Champions League!

CB is sorted, we're in a good place for cover and good options. But unlike this window where things are done out of need and neccesity, I think this is where we really see JTA in action. If we see a really good CB available, he'll be brought in and move someone on. And it might seem a little brutal at times but it'll be about never settling for what we have. Same with "the strikers would be coming in as 3rd and 4th choice". While we will still make "project" signings and ones for the future. I think we will also be looking at upgrades, not just guys to fill the squad and maybe eventually develop to our level. I suspect we might see Kabore go for a relatively low fee and be replaced by a Kabore type that will need time to settle and have big potential. But I think it's also nailed on we sell Braga and use a good chunk of that to not just replace him but improve on him. Because the money we sell Braga for should allow us to fish in a bigger pond than the one we got Braga from in the imfirst place. He was about half a mill, I'd hope his sale gives us the opportunity to spend significantly more on Braga Mark II

You have to consider Europe and not getting in the usual “not a big enough squad to cope”. I would strongly argue we do need a young CH at least. Our current CHs are roughly the same age, contract lengths so we need to introduce the next generation of CH over the next 1-2 years

Borch, Kent, Dhanda, Neilson, Forrest. Will be away. Gordon? Spittal? Beni, Leonard and Devlin. Will we try and keep all 3? I expect interest in our better JTA players, like Braga and Kyzi. How will Chesnokov integrate with the squad? Or Mato? We have no idea at this point in time. Kerjota might be off if there is any interest. He needs to prove he can cut it on a more regular basis between now and the summer. Can't imagine we will have Mato, Kyzi and McPake all vying for wide left. Lots of changes, some expected. Some not. Will we have a better squad next season? Yes we will.

Won't be cheap but Dhanda going the other way as some kind of makeweight would bring his price down a little bit. He might not represent good value through JTA though, as he's hardly an unknown commodity now.

I do think that of the out of contract players will leave bar maybe Cammy. If they haven't been offered a contract by now, I don't think they will be. We need to trim the size of the squad though so it's no bad thing and it allows us to bring in replacements of a higher standard for a European campaign.

If we dont win the league then you are reducing the figure probably a good deal, but still with potential to take another step forwards.

But 18 million is not to be sniffed at. Player sales would push budgets up.
