gregzy2k7 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 For me that is the best win of the season by far, Given the circumstances of the game and what was at stake, A brilliant defensive performance and a top finish from Braga, I celebrated that save from Craig Gordon like it was a goal, it was one of the best i have seen on the TV foe sure.

Heart&soul Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Craig Gordon’s save from the free kick straight after coming seems equally sublime - it’s at 2:08 if anyone’s not seen the highlights.

Turkishcap Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Bit late in posting but all things considered tremendous 3 points. Funny but apart from THAT save I was never unduly worried. Credit to them as they were awful at start of season but SP doing ok now.

Stuart Lyon Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Apologies if this has been posted already! Just shows what we're up against.
Lambert Simnel Posted January 12 Posted January 12 It boggles the mind that some fans of other teams seem to want VAR to intervene now if a free-kick or throw-in is taken from the wrong place. I mean, really? Do you love sitting around waiting for a VAR decision so much that you'd like another twenty or so interventions each game? (To be fair, I can see a case for the award of a corner, but wouldn't support it myself - VAR should just be correcting truly egregious, game-changing mistakes, not refereeing the entire bloody match.)

I wouldn't stress too much about that stuff. Celtic fan media is absolutely insane, properly mental stuff. But more to the point, it's not a VAR issue anyway as var can't intervene on a moving ball or where the freekick is taken from so they can get as excited as they want about it. I'm guessing the same account didn't have this energy for the certain red card they avoided the other day.
Aussie Jambo Posted January 12 Posted January 12 (edited) We totally dominated the first half after a short spell by Scumdee. We possibly should have been 2 or 3 nil up by half time. They were going down our right wing back every-time. The Hibs play book. But we had it covered. Not 100% but we did struggle a little. Luckily they couldn’t cross a ball for the life of them. They were actually pathetic. We rose to the occasion backed by all the top Jambos that travelled to the game. Singing throughout the game. Those scummy tramps were greeting the whole game. It’s embarrassing. To the extent it flustered the ref into some decisions they shouldn’t have got. All in all. 0-1 ya filthy tramps. Get it round ye. Claudios control and shot. Fantastic. We bullied them and schooled them with ten men. Well deserved win thanks to Craig. He made some saves and so did Schwollow. So aye. **** you Dundee ya pricks. Plus those filthy bent GFA wanks. Pasquale for King Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Halkett was standing where the guy fouled Devlin, the forward threw the ball to Cammy who had moved 7 yards further forward, he took it quickly, the Dundee player who threw him the ball started complaining 😆🤪?!?!
Glamorgan Jambo Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The Dundee players deliberately slowed down the restart from the free kick by throwing the ball between themselves a few times and then throwing it short of Cammy. Serves them right for gamesmanship. Oh and I've seen free kicks taken from a moving ball hundreds of times. Only other point is how much McInnes would have enjoyed the second half. 5 at the back. 5 centre halves. 3 in midfield of which two are defensive. Wish just Magnusson and Kabore as the out ball targets (both did well with a very tough gig). Until the very last minutes they let almost nothing past. Was simultaneously a tough and a great watch.

Rogue Daddy Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Anyone know what Shanks ‘outburst’ towards Del McInnes was? … he was obviously not happy at being subbed - https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/i-was-wrong-hearts-captain-lawrence-shankland-explains-his-outburst-at-derek-mcinnes-at-dundee-5471332 … behind a paywall and I’m too tight to pay it. Your hyperbole really is pathetic.

Your hyperbole really is pathetic. It isn't "pathetic", just compare Shanks contribution in 2nd half to Kabore. Shanks doesn't have the constant pace required and did nothing in 2nd half. NB This is not an anti-Shanks post, just reality, just in case my troll barks up the wrong tree as usual.

He's captain and doesn't want to come off which is a good thing in my book.

I was surprised when he was subbed at Dundee but DM got it spot on just like everything else he did on Sunday. The relationship between DM and Shanks looks excellent with lots of mutual respect.
