It's funny how even Sportscene don't look at the initial kick from the keeper. It wasn't a goal kick as some have said. He looked miles off from the footage.

Yellow would have been a fairer decision.

But nice to see youngster Craig get some minutes though. 😀👍

If he learns to kick a ball a bit better, he might just make it as a keeper 😉

Would make it easier if it were a goal kick... The ball was moving!

shanks not happy about being taken off

Good any player worth their salt shouldn't be happy coming off. Shows how professional he is. I am sure he fully understood the reasons.

Great win.

Did my head in at the game with so many idiots wanting Steinwender to jump in on every tackle against the left winger when he's obviously been told to stand him up and not let him beat him into the box.

3 Centre halves going to win the crosses like they did. Brilliant stuff

Stewart outspoken on red card as loads of reasons why yellow would have sufficed. I'll wager no Sevco or Celtic keeper gets sent off in a similar scenario (well we all saw what happened with Butland earlier in the season).

Assist is pushing it. That goal was made by Braga himself

Come on, Devlin took the quick free kick and created the move. If he had left it to centre halfs to lob up park, we wouldn't have scored.

As I said earlier, what a very strange post from you.

Nice wee act from kizzy at the end handing his top to the woman who got hit in the face with the ball. Was great to see cammy and gordon coming to console her too.

The Dundee player who headed the last minute chance was off celebrating before CG clawed it out

Watched it back and paused it when goalie kicked it - he was onside. Findlay then stepped up which is what that photo shows above.

Yeah, agreed.

Was surprised, as watching it without pause, I was sure he was miles behind Findlay.

Thought our bench looked really strong today.

Spittal, Kent and Forrest can still do a job but looked the weaker links out of them all.

Excited by the summer window coming up now too, not just this window.

Was it an actual goal kick? Keeper kicked it off the 6 yd line, then kicked the moving ball up the pitch. If it was a goal kick, it should have been retaken.

Who knows?

You're correct if it was a goal kick.

A good few have said it was a pass back.

Highlights didn't show that, but do suggest it wasn't because of where it was kicked from.

The keeper hasnt kicked the ball yet in that photo, still a few frames to move forward.

Folk still asking if it was a goal kick when the keeper launched it up the park 🤣🤣

Was it Clancy on VAR? Site I use for ref appointments has him replaced by Grant Irvine.

An incredible 3 points……but I’m not sure how much longer our luck is going to last.

We are starting matches far too slow…..and there were some absolutely terrible individual performances that are a real concern.

Didn't think VAR looked at offside unless it's a goal? Offside was given by the lino so VAR shouldn't even check as it wasn't a goal?

You make your own luck.

nothing lucky at all about today’s win with ten men.

Just wondered if there was any clarification as to why Altena was taken off? Height, injury, or defensive abilities?

Shoring up the back, simple as that.

Can only assume DM wanted height across the back line knowing Dundee would launch balls forward and into the box.

Tell me what was lucky?

they didn’t look like scoring against ten men for the full second half, and yes a worldie save got us the three points but that was not lucky.

Yeah, I agree it will give them confidence, and rightly so. Winning games ugly is necessary to win a league. But, as a fan, it makes me nervous when we are just scraping 1-0 wins against pretty poor teams, as there is zero margin for error and I'm partly scarred by the 1-1 against Kilmarnock. Today was still amazing in the end though, and I get that poorer teams will defend heavily and make it difficult to break them down. We also did the job with ten men.

‘pretty poor teams’ ? Ffs Dundee had just won three in a row, including a derby, and we just beat them away with ten men 🫣

Bullshit.

No luck involved today. Offensive to the players efforts to even suggest that

I am alive here from the States friends haha.

And today just showed again why I truly believe this is a season of destiny. Even when we went down to ten men, I had no worries that we would find a way to see it out. The togetherness of this squad is quite amazing to behold tbh. Long may it last and we see it through to getting that trophy.

Oh and yes Gordon showed again why he is the GOAT.

We got the win. Who gives a rat's ass if we were 'lucky'? 3 points is 3 ****ing points. Don't care if Dundee had hit the bar 27 times and missed 8 PK's...3 points is 3 points.

Against Livy Altena had loads of space to run into. Pressley spotted that and virtually had him man marked. As a result he struggled.

Great win in the circumstances. Midfield definitely needs tweaked. Magnusson has been poor last 2 games, more so today, he did zero right and was constantly giving the ball away or fouling. Maybe position doesn’t suit him but against better teams it’s going to cause us an issue.

Just need to look back at Killy v Rangers game the reason given for Butland not getting sent off was they had a defender covering

we had arguably 2 players covering and the Dundee player touch takes him away from goal

Thanks. When Chesnokov is up and running teams won't be able to do that. Teams will be doubling-up so much we'll have more space in the middle
