They'll come and have a go as their confidence will be high and I feel we'll win well in this game. The pressure of Tynecastle on the team can work against them at times but I think away at Dundee will be perfect for us. The massive away crowd will really help also. Hopefully our new winger comes on with 20 mins to go and puts on a show! 0-3 Hearts This is a spot on take I reckon. They’ll come at us from the start, and I think we can catch them on the break readily. a nice early goal for a change, make them come out more then we can pick them off.

Robbo51 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 First time at Dundee away, any recs for pubs that will have a good number of Jambos in before KO?
West Jambo Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I see Simon Murray was suspended for their last match, guessing he's back now? Danda will be missing for them and seems like he's started to be more of an influence for them of late.

Never been so angry and sad at the same time. Unless you were at the game you wouldn’t understand. I see you were 6 at the time. I was 16. I went to all the games that season. Home and away with Rutherford Hearts bus. Simply that was the last time any team out with the arse cheeks had a chance of winning the league. Prior to that it was Aberdeen. So it was then from 86 Celtic won and both won the league and have done since. That Hibs ***** scoring made it worse. Plus the email thing during Covid. That’s twice those wanks done us. It’s history that should never be forgotten. I never will. Edited January 5 by Aussie Jambo

We don’t look like we’re going to destroy any team, good chance there won’t be any easy games between now and the end of the season as every team is capable of taking points off us. Another 14 or so 1-0 nil wins should do it though. First half against Livi only poor finishing stopped us running riot. With the chances created it could easily have been 6 nil at half time. Let's not talk about the 2nd half though. If we play near our best we win, and i think we will by 2 goals

I said on another thread that after the defeat in the derby the main thing to do was win and get 3 points. No game is easy in this league, as we get deeper into the season games against sides down the bottom can be tough as they scrap for any point. Chuck in that Livingston are a bunch of giants and very physical, I thought we stood up to them and defended our box reasonably well for the majority of the game.
Gordon_1874 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 When we beat them 4-0 they genuinely looked like a junior team, anything other than 3 points from this game would be a terrible result.

There are no easy games in this league, you have to earn the points. If we play to our potential we will win. Never take anything for granted though it will take a good performance to secure the points.

We need to win these ones. We've had some indifferent results up there for sure but also won a fair few as well recently. If we want the title we should be going up there and winning. Doesn't matter how, just get the 3 points and on the bus back down the road. Massive hearts support through as well and I hope we create a positive atmosphere for the players and help them get the win. Time to put all the nervous tension away for 90 minutes and focus on roaring the team onto victory. The next 5 or 6 weeks are going to be pivotal in where we end up this season I feel, some big games coming up thick and fast.

Stendel'sGorgieArmy Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Taking the motor up. Any advice on parking? Seems a lot of streets around the ground are permit holders only.

Hertz21 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Dundee play a 4-1-4-1 I reckon there’s a good chance we stick with a 4-4-2
Spellczech Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I want Elvis to demonstrate how sorry he is for his chest-thumping (which annoyed me on the day) and put out a reserve team.
Farmer1 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (edited) Really keen to see chesnokov get a run. Might be too soon but I wouldn’t mind seeing a 4:2:3:1 with kabore up top, shankland, kyzi and chesny behind, cammy and beni in midfield. i can’t see him bringing chesnokov in for Magnusson unless we have some more height/physicallity hence the inclusion of kabore over braga. Equally could just go 4:3:3 with chesny instead of braga and keep Magnusson in midfield Edited January 6 by Farmer1

Rudi5kaceldream1ng Posted January 6 Posted January 6 What's the status of ageu? Has he recovered from the quadruple leg break, broken back arms, arse and eyebrows yet? I'd absolutely love to see ageu and chesnokov on the pitch together.
Scott Leitch Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Any win does here but ideally we win with a bit of swagger. 3-1 Hearts
cookieboy Posted January 6 Posted January 6 have to assume MONs selik will win Saturday and we will be 3 ahead of both arse cheeks with a game in hand to both , make a statement and get 6 clear again with a few goals in that game in hand

weegie jambo Posted January 6 Posted January 6 just need the 3 points to keep the 6 point gap would love a swashbuckling performance like last seasons 6-0 but they're probably a different animal under Elvis

Do agree, just get three points. Start the way we did against Livi and we are bound to get more luck in front of goal.
Bob Loblaw Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Pressure put on us a bit with Rangers getting points on the board. Fancy us to handle it pretty well though, this group of players respond to challenges well in the main.
Debut 4 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) I feel more and more that wins will need dug out and it won’t be pretty. It’s about staying power now and players going that extra yard to get a victory. We need players to go beyond their comfort zone on the park when it’s required and it may be the case this Sunday. 1-2. Late-ish winner from Braga. Edited January 7 by Debut 4
