boag1874 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Just keep winning. It sounds simple but win the next 3 & we go 9 clear of Celtic at a minimum, regardless of what else happens.
Ked Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Comfortable win today and I will be disappointed if we concede. Let's just enjoy this .
NaturalOrder74 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 It is that simple if were winning none of the glasgow noise matters all that matters is winning the next game and Dundee is very winnable

Halkett or Findlay from a corner / free kick For the position we unexpectedly find ourselves in. I would more than happily be the boring, boring Arsenal 1-0 team. Be an agonisinising watch, but boy, the rewards would be heaven. At this moment it is in our hands, lets keep it that way. HHGH

That should be feasible with the amount of attacking talent that's been brought in. Totally agree, he has gone to wandering all over the pitch if things are not going well. With all these great chances we are creating it needs to be him on the end of them.
N Lincs Jambo Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Looking forward to this one. A couple of early goals to settle the nerves then foot to the floor. If not just bring the three points back down the road lads!
best in the land Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Last couple of games not been great so need a good win today, essentially with the arse cheeks winning. Back to 6 point gap hopefully. These games are not easy and dundee have improved recently

Play like that and Create those sorts of chances again and the next opposition might not be so lucky.

Victorian Posted January 11 Posted January 11 On a day like today it will be a real leveller. A bit of a battle. Just at least compete as intensely and there's a decent chance. Get outfought and it will take a lot of luck. Battle like there's a title at stake.

Second half was one of the worst though. And hibs game really poor. Could use a bit more convincing win. Would take any win though.
Dido of Consequence Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Fill the team with cloggers and play percentage football. Not the weather for silky skills
OmiyaHearts Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I'm confident of 3 points but also nervous, stressed and shitting it.

Taffin Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I'm confident today. Better players should be able to be a differential in bad weather. That said, we have to match their intensity too as a minimum. We could also do with our attacking players being able to convert and assist each other a bit more than they have been.
highlandjambo3 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I’ll be watching on Sky sports. The coverage will begin with hearts but inevitably it will very quickly spin over to the two cheeks and which one will finish top……….0-3 at half time would be orgasmic too see their greeting faces….please make it happen, please 🙏🙏
Mikey1874 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) Forward strength on bench Edited January 11 by Mikey1874
Halliphax Posted January 11 Posted January 11 So the rumours were true then - how incredibly frustrating. Wonder if Dundee will try and hammer us down the left now.

McCart is a fine player. If it’s pace we’re concerned about Findlay can cover out there. Just means we need a lot from Kyzi today

Tenor Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) 1 minute ago, Valois No1 said: Looks like a back 3……noooooooo McCart can play LB. It’s 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 Edited January 11 by Tenor
Captain Sausage Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hopefully McCart steps up and does a solid at LB. Schwolow Altena Halkett Findlay McCart Magnusson Devlin Beni Kyziridis Shankland Braga Lopsided 4-3-3/4-4-2 again. Chesnekov on the bench - looking forward to seeing him at some point. So, so important we win here. Couldn't care less if it's a last minute 1-0 or a comfortable 4-0, just get the 3 points and down the road. COME ON HEARTS!
Smithian Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Looks like a 3-5-2 in possession with Kyzi as a LWB in possession I know 3-5-2 is the least glamorous formation, still I like it with this personnel. That’s a stout midfield and Altena at RWB is much better than the options used in early season back 3 struggled. I think McCart as a starter is fine for a spell, but if Kingsley and Milne are hurt for long haul then they have to find an add unless McInnes is comfortable really committing to the back 3.

Forrest Posted January 11 Posted January 11 2 minutes ago, Halliphax said: So the rumours were true then - how incredibly frustrating. Wonder if Dundee will try and hammer us down the left now. What's the rumours? I saw one about SK having a broken toe. What's wrong with Milne?
BigStein Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Looks to me like a lopsided 4-3-3. Altena will give width on the right with Braga tucking in a bit more central whilst Kyzi will give width on the left with McCart being a bit less adventurous
Taffin Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Highlights why we need another lb. Far less confident now as that may hinder Kyziridis a fair bit... albeit maybe not too different to playing in front of Kingsley.
HMFC01 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) Most of our attacks were from Milne or Kingsley, down the left . We swap to the right now, gives Altena more of a chance to show what he does best. Only problem is if we lose Altena 😂 to injury or suspension. Apart from that we have an abundance of attacking players. 0-2 Shankland Come on the Hearts! Edited January 11 by HMFC01
gordiegords Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Ffs we have finally sorted out our right hand side only to be kicked in the balls on the left hand side 😂👎 cmon hearts let’s do this hhgh
Thomaso Posted January 11 Posted January 11 4 minutes ago, neilnunb said: So true about Kingsley then. Great. You couldn’t make it up FFS! 😒
Costanza Posted January 11 Posted January 11 That's an attack minded bench, plenty firepower to bring on.

Its not ideal that our 2 LB's are injured but we cant just keep signing players and Milne or Kingsley could be in days or a couple of weeks. I think McCart is fine for 3rd choice.
Halliphax Posted January 11 Posted January 11 1 minute ago, Forrest said: What's the rumours? I saw one about SK having a broken toe. What's wrong with Milne? Milne rolled his ankle, don’t think we know the extent of it yet. Day later Kingsley was said to be injured leaving us with no natural LB options, hence McCart now filling in.
