22games nro Posted January 3 Posted January 3 They have had a mini revival of late, need to be on it from the start, hopefully with the large away support that helps

Graham Thomson Posted January 3 Posted January 3 We have to try and be proactive with our subs, and not reactive.
Henroddy Posted January 3 Posted January 3 We are struggling just now. Not going into that game with any confidence. Plus they are much improved
neilnunb Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Hopefully McInnes remembers why we're top of the league and isn't more concerned with giving the opposition too much respect.

Halliphax Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Think this game will tell us whether we have another wobble on our hands. Would be the ideal time to freshen the lineup with Altena to get the full 90, Chesny coming on as fresh legs (though doubt he’ll be match fit or have his papers ready) and Ageu would be a boon here as well (though he’s not going to be back until start of February). We’ve got enough to take a result here, just hope the players believe this as well.
ToadKiller Dog Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Dundee will be buzzing after winning the derby but they are a hit and miss side, play near our best, we should win this
Hertz21 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Tough game next week after they have went on a bit of a purple patch. See we have sold out the stand behind the goals and a handful in the old stand left.
JJ93 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Hibs play Motherwell next. That’ll be good. Motherwell to win.
kingantti1874 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Dundee have won 3 in a row. They are Not to be underestimated.
Newbie99 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 The Hairy Coo are running a bus to Dundee leaving at 11:45am from Tynecastle. £20 a head but limited seats. You can book by emailing [email protected]
Cade Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Can't make another slow start. Need to be fully focussed from the whistle.

EH11 2NL Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Time for Pressley to redeem himself, send out a weakened side

I’m not expecting to win every week. I’m just looking at recent form (team performance not just the results) plus the form of teams we’re playing coming up. No need to get frustrated mate, I felt my initial post was more than calm and fairly optimistic…

N Lincs Jambo Posted January 3 Posted January 3 No Yan Dhanda for them next week. He seems to have regained a bit of confidence through his loan move.
Dalry Posted January 3 Posted January 3 I actually think playing away from home against a team like Dundee, who have won their last three games (albeit narrow victories against Falkirk, Killie and Utd), will be perfect for us. They'll come and have a go as their confidence will be high and I feel we'll win well in this game. The pressure of Tynecastle on the team can work against them at times but I think away at Dundee will be perfect for us. The massive away crowd will really help also. Hopefully our new winger comes on with 20 mins to go and puts on a show! 0-3 Hearts
Henroddy Posted January 3 Posted January 3 I take back my previous post. I expect nothing less than a 3 - 0 win. Shanks hat-trick 👍😁

boag1874 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 They’re picking up but we’re the best team in the league & should be taking care of them. 3-1 hearts

Not saying they haven’t picked up but they carried a bit of luck today.

Guess im trying to keep my feet on the ground. People saying every week 4-0/5-0 Hearts. We ALL want that. But thats not reality. Would happily settle for scrappy 1-0 every week. Just dont think the nerves would hold out. And nerves will kick in the longer the season goes on. Part and parcel of being a fan. And much better than last season's efforts. Maybe I just fear the "bubble will burst". I need to be more optimistic. 👍😁👏❤️

Danny Wilde Posted January 3 Posted January 3 (edited) McInnes is smart enough to publicly pay respect to the efforts of mangers and players of other teams. That stops us getting too billy big time about things and reminds the players that every week we have to win the battle. I'm sure he'll do the same in regard to Dundee. There are plenty fans still carrying scars from playing at Dens Park, but really there's nobody on the coaching and playing side with any of that baggage. In a season where we've already won crucial games at Ibrox and Parkhead, Dens Park should hold no daemons and no fear for Hearts. Edited January 3 by Danny Wilde
Absolute Scenes Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Get every single player on shooting drills and finishing. Some of the misses today were disgraceful.

We don’t look like we’re going to destroy any team, good chance there won’t be any easy games between now and the end of the season as every team is capable of taking points off us. Another 14 or so 1-0 nil wins should do it though.
