Seriously though, I've booted the hoop out of the festive season and the next-day doom/anxiety was murder. Ony cure is to get right back on the horse! 😄

Wee period of moderation amd abstinence incoming.

I’ll be honest it never really affects me all that much, the dooms I mean.
I’ve done numerous 5,6,7ams over the festive and only problem I’ve really had was knocking my sleeping patterns out of sync but back to normal now I’m back at work Monday there.
Looking forward to tonight cos I’m off tomorrow so battle cruiser for a few tonight🍺🍺😋

Just read Greggs are suffering because of Ozempic (weight loss jabs).

Good stuff. Vile shite that gets served in that place.

I remember these ‘sausage’ rolls.

There’s more sausage meat in a lettuce.

Started a water fast. 108 hours in, 5 kg down. Doing 20 days.

Target 79kg. Once I get there, gym and clean eating.

Water fast helps kick start the process but needs change to the diet to sustain it.

My biggest vice is chocolate/sweet food. I struggle to stop eating it once I start so wont be touching it again.

Good grief. How are you managing?

Can't control an urge to eat chocolate but you're attempting a 20 day fast 🤣.

I've done a few 3 day fasts and found them easy, not contemplating doing any longer though eg, 5-7 days as I'm enjoying beer to much🤣.

Good luck with it and please let us know how it goes 👍

I did the intermittent fasting for a year . Knocked me I’ll really . I’d never do it again. I was having nothing for breakfast and only started to eat around 5pm 6pm thinking it was working . It wasn’t . Best to have a decent fibre laden breakfast which fills you up until tea time etc

Should always get proper dietry advice on these things if people try them. Not everyone works for everyone and the idiots that give advice out online or social media are often utterly clueless even if they have good intentions. I always refer clients to a dietician or nutritionist.

I have two. Cut down massively on fizzy drinks and drink more water/diluting instead and cut down/stop having so much bread. Which is proving difficult as im struggling with lunch ideas.

Dry January again this year.

Drank far too much over the Xmas break.

Posted

Why do folk feel the need to drink and eat to excess just because it’s the ‘most wonderful time of the year’?

Watched alot of videos on it. Using the playstation when not working as a distraction. Drinking electrolytes.

Focus on the goal 👊

So far I am delighted with the way dry January is going...I haven't bathed or showered since last year..

Had stopped drinking for 6 weeks prior to Xmas then had a blow out for my birthday last week. Il be going back to no drinking until the Scotland world cup game against Haiti or when hearts lift the title 🤪

I'd also like to get to under 100kg. I was at 103 at Xmas but I will be over than now after that 3 day drink binge I done. That's about it..
