Looking for 2 tickets (adult and U18 would do, or 2 adults) if anyone has spares?

Couldn't go when they went on sale, but now can after all! 🤦‍♂️

If anyone is looking for tickets, I have 3 adults together in the main stand.

Me and another one of the three went to buy them at the same time - so we've currently got 6 between 3 of us!

Hi folks- I'm one of Dundee's supporters liaison officers. Just a heads up that there are parking restrictions around the Dundee grounds on match days from two hours of kick off. So while Clepington Road would be OK, you'd get a ticket on Provost Road.

Although it's about a 10 minute walk from the ground, there's free parking at Clepington Primary School. Failing that, on street parking outside of the restricted zone,  but it will be busy.

Cheers,  Kris

I Park in the streets covered by the word 'Plan' on the diagram, its like wee industrial units so there's no residential parking to fight with . just come out turn left and up the road straight to the kingsway on the way back.

Facilities staff working hard to ensure all is OK. The chief concern is making sure the underfoot conditions are safe which suggests,  at this time, there's no major concern for the pitch. Appreciating, of course,  there's other factors to consider which could lead to any game being in doubt.

Graham St / Barnes Av always been handy for getting away after the game onto the Kingsway. Getting the train this time though.

We're heading up on the train, normally I drive up. For those who have done the train trip before what are the best options for

A/ Pubs?

B/ getting from the station to the ground and back again?

Few pubs between the train station and the town centre. Best bet is a taxi up, it's a hell of a trek up the Hilltown.

Temps to be around 4°, and the heavy rain should sort out any left over snow. I think Dundee's pitch is in good condition so I cant see there being an issue.

Worth paying attention to as it cost me a few quid when we visited Tannadice earlier this season.

Was still just about worth it.

Dundee is a shitter, apart from the Discovery and V&A down by the sea (which no locals visit).  I’ve stayed in a travelodge close to the grounds a few times with a short walk to the match………is like a scene from mad Max 😳

Yes - I've got 2 adults seats together in the main stand. Had one other person ask me about them and I only replied to him about 50 mins back. So if he doesn't come back - you're on. When do you need to know and would you want them both?

You, Mr Highlandjambo3, should know better than to base your assessment on a stay in a bleedin' Travelodge.

In fact, I'm surprised that you didn't have a contact who'd put you up somewhere comparable to your own classy gaff. There are heaps o' characterful B&Bs in and around Perth Road, believe me!

Anyhoo, Dundee has come on leaps & bounds since I worked there in the 1980's (which was quite the, ahem, 'experience'), and I'm fed up pointing out its charms.

It is blessed with history, superbly located for trips beyond its immediate boundaries, and should be cherished as part of Scotland's heritage.

Dundee gets a bad rep, but I've spent many days & nights there over the years and it never fails to surprise and delight.

It's a shame that the 'City of Discovery' has to be constantly ripped by those who feel that it doesn't live up to certain 'standards'.

Seek beauty, and ye shall find.

Anyhoo ... 0 - ️ incoming.

Total agree.
It baffles me why we are always keen to disrespect other towns/cities in Scotland?

There are many downsides to them all but far more positives.

Ok, as an old (er) codger maybe I should open my mind up a bit more to places I don’t often frequent.  But, I won’t be taking a holiday their anytime soon.

I must have just stayed at the shit bits 🤷‍♂️ it’s often in the news with drug related issues and, most of the people interviewed sound weegie.

Nah, you were right the first time. Dundee is a dump. At best. Like a smaller, crappier (if possible), greyer, colder version of the hellscape that is the weege. Full of similar creatures too. Don’t give me this Dundee has reinvented itself rubbish either. One old boat and the most overhyped tourist attraction in Scotland does not over ride the many, many other deficiencies. Not even close. Although in fairness, that one old boat is quite cool and worth a visit.
