That's more realistic.....even then 🤷

As Buzzbomb says above they are probably looking for half of the £6m  but  I doubt any Club would be mug enough to even pay £3m for Bowie

Amusing to see the Wee Team whoring every player they have  though.

I see Hibs reported £1m bid by Hibs for Bailey Cadamarteri from Sheffield Wednesday that was rejected was actually only £250k

Agreed, I mean the lads got an issue with his balance, god knows how he gets through a medical.

Lols

He has certainly perfected the art of a soft landing so maybe a career in the Parachute Regiment would suit him far better

Bit of a coup signing for Falkirk. Young striker from Newcastle on a permanent deal. 20 year old, not without his injury concerns latterly but must have had something about him as he was training with first team squad not that long ago. Ben Parkinson.

Rangers about to sign Danish winger Skov Olsen from Wolfsburg.Rated at £10m on Transfermarkt was left out of Wolfsburg squad today.

Must be a big fee involved as he is under contract until 2029

looks like a good player for this level. Seems like they’re going all in on this season.

Looks like Celtic are recalling Stephen Welsh from Motherwell. Wonder if they'll be selling him. Aberdeen were apparently interested.

O'Neill said they need cover. So probably staying unless they bring in another

Well Rangers clearly don't need to spend anything. The officials won't let any team give them a proper game.

No chance they'll be able to afford his wages you would imagine.

Celtic put in loan offer for Lorient striker Bamba

He has scored 1 goal this season in Ligue 1 and managed a mighty 2 in ligue 2 last season.

I'm a big fan of the Bowie to Celtic rumour because it's a weird situation in which I think it doesn't make Celtic that much better (Bowie has bags of potential but he's not going to be able to be THE MAN leading the line at Celtic. Simply not ready yet) and would absolutely hollow out Hibs.

So much of their game is based on getting forward fast and hoping that a combo of Bowie and Turkey Teeth can pressure defenders into making mistakes/slack passes so the second wave of the attack can work through unstructured defences.

I'd like him to go for substantially less than the £6m quoted though because that'll really upset Hibs fans.

There is not a chance in hell he will fetch anything near 6 million no chance

Certainly not from Celtic or Rangers as they just don't want to give it to Scottish teams.

It'll be announced as £6m including add-ons, they won't say that those add on include being the first footballer to score a goal on the moon.

Just watched the Scottish Football Social podcast. When does Kieran Bowie stop being a youngster the guy is 23 and they make him out like he is the age of James Wilson.

Also they think he is worth £6.5m or whatever but don't think he is ready to play for Celtic 😂

Looks like Celtic pulling out of signing guy from Israeli club citing discovery of 'previously unknown injury'.

Presumably this injury is running scared of upsetting portion of your support who object to giving money to an Israeli club.

Hopefully guy goes on to be X huge success whatever club he goes to, unless it's Hibs or Sevco, to show them what they could have had

Being packed off to Glasgow mid winter is more of a punishment  than a move for the players concerned,

Whoever they sign it will take time for them to be integrated into their team, which we should be able to take advantage of.

The loan route makes sense for Celtic…..no point in spending millions on players a new manager won’t fancy.

The Loan Rangers are probably going down the try before you buy route due to the number of terrible signings over the years.

None of the Old Firm seem in any rush to buy a striker. Also all the talk is Bowie surely they are looking at Manwansie ( sp )

I'm shocked at how quiet it is over Glasgow way so far. It's like neither went in with a plan at all. Irrespective of who the manager is the positions needing to be strengthened should be long since identified and a list of options drawn up.

They may well just be aiming too high and failing to secure the ones they want.

The longer this go the more chance of them panic buying someone who hasn't kicked a ball in months and can't get fit in time to make a proper impact.

to be fair it seems all of celtics plans have went south with nancy coming in, two transfers that were supposedly basically done have now fell apart. rangers have done well but spending big money on positions where they aren't really underperforming.

It’s great to see we have got them panicking and this is only our first year under the Jamestown banner , can’t even see how the tribute act can keep up spending the way they are it’s not sustainable when nobody want to pay decent money for the shite they have already spent big on , as for Sellick they are just a mess and long may it continue

MON has taken him as insurance in case the board don’t fund the centre back he wants. He gets the signing he’s after and Welsh will go back to Motherwell

just wait till we get europe. if we can win the league this year (fingers crossed) and win the ucl it's like 30 odd million. if we get that and somewhat corner it off the fee's they pay and receive for players will go down as ours go up

Winning the ucl is a lot more than £30m
