Hearts of Vladland Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Milne was doing sprints today, no idea if that’ll put him in contention for Wednesday but certainly not out for the season.

If he's sprinting he starts, the initial ankle roll may well have hurt like hell with a potential for damage to ligaments and tendons.........it would appear he got off lightly. Good news indeed.

Good news indeed. Depends how his ankle is after the sprints would be my only concern, the sprints are probably just see how he reacts to it. Still a little concerned about the ‘scans didn’t look great’ comment from Del, makes you wonder if there is an issue and Milne is trying to play through the pain barrier.

I’m sure someone mentioned that he needs a operation so possibly putting the opp off just now and taking injections

He was running before the scan too. Fingers crossed

Great news, even if he’s not fit for Wednesday at least he won’t be out for weeks or months

Even if he can't play in either of the home games this week hopefully the timeline for the huge Celtic game in 13 days time will give him a chance.

Was out the squad yesterday as a precaution and getting a scan today. Obviously it’s nothing if he’s sprinting today. Would expect him back this week at some point

When did Del say the scans didn’t look great? I thought he hadn’t had his scan yet?

sac Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Players are all chipped these days, so Harry went to our medical providers at Sainsbury’s in Gorgie and they ran his ankle through the scanner. All good, plus he got awarded some nectar points for sprinting there.

AGoodLaugh Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Back from his season-ending injury in one week. You have to credit the medical team 👀

RudiSkacelsLeftPeg Posted January 14 Posted January 14 That’s some recovery from the injury. He must share his secrets.

RustyRightPeg Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Not back here to defend myself because I do not give a **** what those who sat and ridiculed me before the thread was tidied up by the mods (I hope warnings were given like I usually get) but the fact McInnes has said “the scans didn’t read great” backs up what I was told. Milne SHOULD HAVE been going under the knife and would be out for the season if he did have surgery. He is adamant he doesn’t need it and fair enough, credit to him. 🖕🏽🖕🏽

daveb15 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 If ever proof was needed not to take the word of people 'ITK' it's this thread and the fact that he's playing tonight.

JamboAl1965 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Our much maligned medical team taking harry firm dead with no legs to match fit in a wee is incredible.
pettigrewsstylist Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Like a winger at times, what an engine and desire ❤️
mr fox Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I would play him in a middle 3 v Celtic on the left He has everything
Carter Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) McInnes said on the radio pre match he had a scan and result didn't look great and they were concerned. Why is RRP getting this treatment 🤷♂️ Edited January 14 by Carter

Why is RRP getting this treatment 🤷♂️ and St Mirren had at least 2 playing tonight who were definitely out injured and not playing they all play mind games and to be fair you can’t rely on a random on a social media page for up to date and reliable info
Cade Posted January 14 Posted January 14 And to think he had total knee replacement surgery in the week
