I P Knightley Posted November 2 Posted November 2 The Piano with Harvey Keitel and some other people. And a piano.
Spellczech Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Oooh a double-feature! First of the new Star Wars movies with that JarJar Binks character...terrible
Marvin Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Not walked out but fell asleep to War of the Worlds (the shit Tom Cruise version) in the cinema.
Ulysses Posted November 2 Posted November 2 34 minutes ago, the posh bit said: Oppenheimer. It shows how people's taste can differ. I went to see that in the cinema twice.

Tbh, it was a horrible cinema experience. There wasn't a spare seat anywhere, I was on my own and the people on either side of me had a ridiculous amount of 'food.' I might give it another go one day.

Jaysus, that wouldn't add to the experience. I've thought about it a few times, but the only movie I've ever actually walked out of was Nine and a half weeks. I just got bored out of my box and said so to my mate. He said he was bored as well, so we fecked off to the pub.

martoon Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) Carry on Columbus. Growing up in the '70's and '80's I'd been a fan of Carry on films and I still am. But, aged 24, in 1992, that movie was abysmal. I don't recall any other time I've left before the end of a film. There's 30 Carry on's: 10 are excellent/good, 10 are average and 10 are unwatchable tripe. Cleo, before anyone asks, but I suspect no one was. 😊 Edited November 3 by martoon

pharmaceutical01 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Sweeney Todd's The Demon Barber of Fleet Street with Johnny Depp Utter drivel
scott herbertson Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Finding Nemo Well, not quite because it was crap - I never found out. My son was just about 4 and i decided to take him along for his first cinema experience As this scene developed my son sprang to his feet and ran down the aisle screaming "Let me Out Let me Out" I had to take him out of the cinema altogether - he wouldn't go near one for about 5 years....

Bill Sikes Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Never walked out . . . . . But fell asleep to many. Too many to name in actual fact 🥱
iantjambo Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Independence Day: Resurgence Loved the original. The sequel was utter cack. Filled with the most annoying characters that I’ve ever seen. If I’d stayed, I would probably have rooted for the aliens.
