He's so funny on Would I Lie To You. David Mitchell's reactions make it even funnier

Vic was good but Bob was the perfect foil.

I'd forgotten all about Absolutely.  It was class.

This character reminds of of an ex poster who wanted to use Blair Drummond as an execution centre 😂😂😂😂

I won’t lie I called him McGlashen more than a few times. I think he secretly took it as a compliment.

I could never tell if he was 100% serious or just being over the top for laughs. I wonder what happened to him?

Such an unusual but  funny character for comedy.  Paul Whitehouse is ... well....BRILLIANT !!     As are these 2 in their gentlemen's club -

I'll  be honest, i didn't really find that funny. It was a bit repetitive.  Sorry

Its from a different era.  Lots of TV comedy from the 70s & 80s just seem quaint rather than funny now - although a few still raise a chuckle nowadays -

e.g.  "Don't tell him, Pike"      and Del Boy & Rodney  nicking the chandelier.:qqb006:

Its a compilation of clips.  The joke is  the irony of 2 old  posh buffers fixation on whether someone  in the news  looks & sounds  "quare" ....

I never actually watch this show, only the clips whenever Bob has been on. Every one is absolute gold.

My faves are probably the 2 egg-related ones that absolutely break David Mitchell

I mostly watch the clips but I've seen a few episodes.  Mitchell gets so wound up. It's hilarious

This is still one of the best sketches I ever saw, brilliant at taking Mickey out of yobbish British culture

Been years since I've seen that.

Excellent stuff.
