A lad that used to work for me also promoted metal club nights and DJ’d as well. He used to love telling us how he booked them before the first album came out to do a gig in Edinburgh and they tried to cancel on him as the album was doing well and there was no point in them doing it. And how they stayed in his flat as he couldn’t afford a hotel. I’ve not seen him for years but guess he tells that story with a different slant the last few years.

It takes a lot to really shock me but the contents of that document still make me feel genuinely sick to this day. Hope it was long, brutal & I hope he spent the time between when he was attacked in 2023 til this one absolutely shitting himself that it could happen again. Vile, disgusting piece of filth.

It's less than 2 years removed from Richardson and others trying to leather him over how his drug use was scunnering things for the band. It's not really a moral code that makes much sense, drugs bad / noncing good

It's not really a moral code that makes much sense, drugs bad / noncing good not that you can condone pop stars having ‘relationships’ with 14 15 16 year old girls etc and joking about it - lots did the latter and probably plenty never convicted did the former what watkins did over and above this was a whole different level and carries a completely different legal definition did some people think he’d maybe slept with some under age girls - possibly couldnt rule that out but turned a blind eye or didnt enquire enough - not great did they know the full extent of what was going on - you would hope that wouldnt be the case
