Goldstone Wonder Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Enjoyed that. I just realised their wunderkind Josh Mulligan was playing as he was on the team sheet. Not mentioned once in the Hibs commentary and had no idea at all he was playing at the game

PTBCAL Posted October 7 Posted October 7 I used to play footie with Cliff. Pretty decent goalkeeper, nice guy… until you start taking about football. 🙁
leith_dude Posted October 7 Posted October 7 "unbelievable" says Cliff. Actually Cliff, your shower have made a habit of conceding late goals so the phrase you should have used was "typical" 😁

Such a regular occurrence that even Hibs bloggers are using the term “Hibsed it” now.
GinRummy Posted October 7 Posted October 7 If Hibs want advice, they should try scoring late goals instead of conceding them. Works a lot better and saves getting all bitter and twisted.

Not mentioned once in the Hibs commentary and had no idea at all he was playing at the game Indeed. But then they kicked the ball over his head all game. Lot of talk about Hibs just punting to Boye and Bowie and while there is truth in that, what they actually did, tbslightlyf, is put their midfield high-ish up the pitch when their CHs had the ball. It was short to CHs try to draw us slightly, hit it long and I think they hoped Campbel and Mulligan would profit. But they didn't cos we've got players much better on the second ball and in tight spaces than them. To me, Mulligan's one attribute is driving with the ball from deep. So you need to somehow play him on the half-turn around halfway, but they don't have the nous in the team or the dugout to make this happen. Wait until Ageu plays for us, and you'll see it happen. The once I noticed Mulligan was when he matched Braga for pace, when Claudio tried to break in the second half. We were unlucky it was Mulligan he was up against! On the commentary, bit disappointed compared to previous snotters!!!!
jamboozy Posted October 7 Posted October 7 “Don’t know what game the Hearts fans ur watching’ but it’s no the same as me” aye, we heard you the 1st time you knob, but you were watching the same game when Hearts scored eh?

wentworth jambo Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Not even close to the best Hibs TV commentary moment - 8:20 onwards in this one will always have a place in my heart...
TheBigO Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Couple of small things I've enjoyed: Them putting their team up at the start in a 352, attacking looking formation. Nope! Was barely 532, maybe 622? Three chances we keep being shown were all offside. Boyle back post (Alex save), and the 2 clean through. They're not even counting as shots on goal, xG or any of this. All offside. They made one chance all game - good run, but a punt up the park and a run of the ball.

Bauld Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Who was the person commentary that must have said 10 times or more than we are never going to score if we don't go beyond the 18 yard line before crossing the ball? After listening to it for half the match it made the goal even better for me.
