Not skint either, but less likely to throw tens of millions at Rangers without caring about it. Additionally that’s all money on paper, without selling his share of the 49’ers he’s not got that kind of money just sitting about as cash

Having a loss making business on your books is a good thing, you can dump any and every debt you own onto that business, in this case rangers. The Glazers did that to cash rich Man Utd. Still they might put in a £20m war chest over and about the £17m losses they make years in year out

Rangers were already looking a bit of a precarious investment for them when they came in. I suppose it all comes down to their motives. Edited October 8 by Deevers

Leeds have been a basket case, but like a lot of clubs, the money pumped into it, is disgusting. the 49ers will get a return. But if you are looking at a profit from Rangers, you have not done enough due diligence.. They need to spend huge just to maintain their status and the illusion. We are living in our means. They might not even qualify next season for Europe, that would be massive
sac Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Let’s not forget that our vermin neighbour's are not in a very good place financially either, considering the Gordon’s bailed them out not long ago, they’re back to racking up debts again.
Tynecastle Valhalla Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Without champions league football I don’t see how they can make a huge profit. Player trading won’t cut it.
