Sakes 😬

Was always going to happen though.

Still. A few more weeks of turmoil ahead for them and hopefully by then, we will be out of sight of them, for the season.

Sacking a manager for losing one game. Crazy times.

Even if he has been sacked it makes no real difference. That Rangers side is shite. 😁

Nothing official but the police escort from the ground would indicate that you don’t need to be a brain surgeon to work out that his position might just be untenable.

We’ve got an 11 point head start and I believe the squad is very average at best. Overpriced duds in the main.

Lets see what they can do having already spent their budget for the season and being stuck with that squad until at least January.

In his short spell he managed to put Hibs out a cup 😂

Update from Sky, he’s gone

Shame. Wonder who'll be next in the door. Martin was the best they could come up with in the 3 months after they sacked Clement.

The Dream Team to return

Well that was fun while it lasted.

They are still left with a bunch of overrated, expensive duds captained by the weakest leader you ever did see.

And they still have the guys that hired and backed Martin in positions of power.

Can't wait to see who they bring in next.

Why can’t they just give the manager time to get the team playing. As he says there’s signs of progression.

Aww he was my second favourite manager in the league

It will be Dyche. The football will be awful along with the results but the press will like him (as he does seem like a sound guy), meaning they'll stick with him longer than they should.

McInnes would be off his tits to do that just now. Won’t happen.

Get Barry the 🦀 in, for a continuous decline!!!

Totally irrelevant who the Rangers manager is, their problems run far deeper than just with the man in the dugout.

I'm not suggesting he would leave, but the i wouldn't be surprised if the media start touting his name.

Subjected to an unfathomable amount of personal abuse by the scummiest fans in the UK.

Hopefully he lands on his feet. Usually don't have any time for anything Rangers, but genuinely think the abuse he's suffered has went beyond the pale.

I agree, there's no way he leaves what he's got at hearts to take on that basket case of a club, but the MSM will do anything they can to try and unsettle us.

Considering how long it took for them to appoint Martin after a long managerial search, I cant see the Rangers board making a quick decision and if I was a Rangers fan I would have no confidence in them making the right one, just falling for the one who can sound like they know what they are doing.

But as others say the problems run deeper so it wont be a quick turnaround even if they get a competent manager. Just look what happened when they bought Barry in to be interm manager after the problems with Clements, they looked good in the big games (Old Firm, Europe) then went even worse at home.

Though saying that, with Martin, he ignored a big failing with his system where his defence were hung out to dry and its losing those goals that cost them the most. Rangers fans have managed to get by with the fact that even if they are poor in the league, at least they managed to get results in Europe. Martin was unable to do either.

Pretty harsh imo

They have only lost 1 game domestically and that’s was to the champions elect

Unless they've already been searching and sounding out potential replacements, but that would be unusually professional of them.  Most likely to be one of Thelwell's other laddies.

You would assume that they started looking a few weeks ago, lots of names on the list before McInnes Screenshot_2025-10-05-21-45-08-55_40deb401b9ffe8e1df2f1cc5ba480b12.thumb.jpg.e4dde65b24143f3a691cebdd9af2f9b5.jpg

We don't need the distraction. Good PR team would plant a question at his next press conference that gives him the opportunity to state that he has no interest in leaving Hearts. End any speculation and hence the distraction.

Will take the pressure off Del having to bat away premature talk of a title challenge - we can have 5 minutes at each press conference about him moving to rangers instead
