Ski Nae Posted October 5 Posted October 5 The first thing that I thought when I woke up this morning was: You get FOUR points for a win in derby matches.

way out west jambo Posted October 5 Posted October 5 My dream last night was great as well. Just pumped Hibs, we were top of the league, Tony Bloom was signing £1m+ Brazilians every transfer window, Jamestown analytics was working, McInnes had worked out his best starting 11 and the pies at half time were ok 👌🏻 🍆💦 New bed sheets on tonight

Wee Mikey Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Bonnie Prince Charlie got as far as Derby but the match was called off and he didn't get any points.

Worcester wasn't it? He (shouldn't say "we" I'm not a Jacobite) took England as far down as Worcester. Must've been mad days, all that way for 4 pints of sauce. Edited October 5 by Born Again Nade
bobby bombscare Posted October 5 Posted October 5 All jokes aside, i like the idea of a bonus point if you score 3 or more goals. Makes it worthwhile to go out and attack and even if you find yourself down and out, you can still play for that bonus point so still worth attacking!

The GFA referees would have to award the OF 3 penalties in extra time

Battle of Worcester I was thinking of, 1651. Charles II. Or is there a 4th point of contention? Edited October 5 by Born Again Nade

There were several important commonalities between the two so not surprising you mixed them up, although there wasn't a fight at Derby, just a decision to turn tail. Edited October 5 by redjambo
JimmyCant Posted October 5 Posted October 5 ORRRRRRRRR…… You can play your ‘joker’ card against any team above you in the league and get double points. If you’re top you can’t play it
Ski Nae Posted October 6 Author Posted October 6 I woke up this morning, Monday the 6th of October 2025, thinking... ... Should I ask my h1b5-supporting colleagues at work if derby matches deserve 4 points for a win? Hearts and h1b5 Celtic and Sevco Dundee and Dundee United ...and the other six can play rock, scissors, stone, to see who they get as a derby partner. I'd explain that it would be like playing your Joker 🃏. ...and then... ...just... ...wait.
Wee Mikey Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) Meanwhile, h1b5 are aiming to be 1st (yet again) by gaining admission to 'The Five Points Club'. I'll leave that with those who can be arsed looking further. 😉 (hint ... google 'the five points club new york', and you'll catch my drift) There's an Al Capone connection for those more cerebral. Edit ... the 1st line from Wikipedia just about sums it up ... "The Five Points gained international notoriety as a densely populated, disease-ridden, crime-infested slum." 🤭 Edited October 7 by Wee Mikey

Methinks Cove Rangers would provide suitable competition for the Dandy Dons fans to get excited about as a derby fixture.
