What is it with the cringey post match interviews with managers being asked stupid questions? Peps interview tonight for example. Amazed some of the managers don't just walk off!

What I am now seeing is the NBA.

Great opportunity during the regular season for these teams, who know they are going to finish in the top 24, to try anything they fancy, protect stars when necessary and give experience to younger players, game time to those not considered a starter.

I'm not a fan of this format, enormous benefits for the Super Clubs

Didn’t benefit them much last year - City barely made the playoff round, Madrid, Bayern & PSG missed out on top 8 & had to go through another 2 legged tie.

I think whatever way you do it you could argue it benefits the top clubs tbh - in the previous model they didn’t have to play any of the other top seeds & it was really tough for the pot D teams to get anywhere. At least now the bottom seed teams will play clubs in their own pot too rather than just getting absolutely slaughtered by Bayern over 2 legs and Bayern will have to play a couple of more difficult games against the top seeds.

PSG didn't benefit?

Some comical defending.

I'd love to see Bodø get out of the group stage. I feel that they're a team we could replicate and one of my friends supports them.

Spurs the only team to not concede a home goal in the CL this season. 23 European home games unbeaten.

Play like the Dog and Duck in the Premier League. Strange.

USG putting in a pretty decent showing away to Bayern so far. Actually missed a couple of sitters.

What is it about English commentators having to reference an England match while commentating on club matches?

Aye, wasn’t as good a 2nd half from them.

Arsenal make 11 changes against Kairat. This will highlight how poor Celtic were in the qualifying round.

PSG miss a laughable penalty against Newcastle. The sort of penalty that Rangers might get.

With Olympiacos beating Ajax, I think now means that they will end up with a higher UEFA club coefficient over Rangers. Meaning if they win their domestic league then they are guaranteed the Champions League Group Phase over Rangers (if they were to win the league).

They're 2 points behind with game in hand over leaders. Certainly a lot closer than Sevco to us.

Loved that ending, Keeper scores to keep Benfica in.

Change formats to keep things interesting, absolutely loved the coverage, all games at the same time and all goals on show.

Its how the real world functions . . . Meanwhile in Scotland we all cannie wait for the split.

I doubt you could put an English XI out from all 5 of them.

Yeah Olympiacios are the bookies fravourites to win the league. I wonder if it will prevent Rangers making any big last minute transfer deals this window. Knowing that they aren't guaranteed group phase football even if they win the league.
