...he cannot afford.

Great success.

Brilliant 👏

He’s playing as a #9. Games as you’d expect, a lot of possession for Kazakhstan so not a lot of room for him to operate.

I want to see him off the right, selfishly.

Pretty good finish fom Kenzhebek, like Kizi's 3-0

Kenzhebek was subbed soon after the goal. Chesnokov now moved out to right

2 goals and an assist for Kenzhebek, not bad going, even if it's against Lichtenstein. Would love if our rumoured interest in him along with Chesnokov results in a double signing.

Andrew McKinlay saying he will start training with Hearts in December.

That's great give him a month to get ready to rip it up :)

I hope we announce him in December and not afraid to cover his time in December, as it would be annoying if he is here training and we are pretending he doesn't exist as a Hearts player till the window opens. Also doing the unveiling in December gets it out of the way for him to concentrate on getting ready for the first game.

Just in time for the Dec 27 derby? Or is he a Jan window signing?

It's been a while since I paid him any attention.

DM seems to rate him higher than other players already signed, which is very exciting to hear.

From hearts standard

"But I think Chesnokov is a couple of steps ahead of the level where some of the lads we signed. So I think he's one that can come and hit the ground running."

He added: "...he is signed, he just can't play until January when the window opens. So we just want to try and make sure he is as fully prepared and as ready as he can be for for us really in that first game proper in January."

i see Miko was getting interviewed in Kazakhstan about Chesnokov and playing for Hearts.

"I saw Islam as a brave guy who plays well with his left foot, has good technique and physique, and scores goals.

“He has all the qualities that will help him succeed in Scotland so I don't think there will be any problems. It is important to take into account the high pace and pressure of the championship, but he will adapt in two to three weeks. I don't know what level of English Chesnokov has, but he needs to understand the coach's philosophy, adapt, and interact with the press.”

(the next two sections I have used google translate, so one or two bits dont sound quite right)

"Rangers have had a big problem this season, they've been in crisis. So now we're looking back at 20 years ago, when Hearts won silverware. The club has never had such a successful start to a season in its history, so I'm happy for the boys. McInnes has been playing brilliantly since he arrived, and now they have a crucial match against Celtic,"

"In Scotland, football is like a religion, and Edinburgh is home to the strongest football fans. There's one thing Chesnokov needs to know: no matter who you lose to, you can't let Hibernian down. He has to win this derby, even if he gives his all on the field (laughs). They don't like sissy players here, no matter how much they knock you down, you have to be a man."

Love that Miko's main lesson to Chesnokov is that you must win the derby.

From what McInnes was saying in his interview with Si Ferry, it sounds like Chesnokov is much further on in his development than Kerjota, so there is an expectation he can come right in.

Certainly exciting we've got a reinforcement of that calibre ready for the 2nd half of the season already.

Miko's comments very interesting too. Sounds like we've got a very good player coming in. I hope we get the other guy too. Might be helpful to have two over (I think you've posted about that before).

Its kind of cool we've got the Romanov generation looking back/forwards 20 years later as we undergo a new revolution of sorts.

I actually wonder what it is that McInnes feels is the reason he isn't ready. Like which side of his game is it that's preventing him from being given more minutes. He's always looked good in his brief cameos and Gordon saying things like he reckons he'll become a fan favourite, it would be interesting to know what he needs to do to get up to speed.

Certainly been more lively and more of a threat than Forrest but is behind him in the pecking order.

He’s only spoke openly about him and Ageu and the higher level he thinks they’re at. It’s hugely encouraging.

He’ll fully unleash him at the right time. Forrest has a role, albeit a limited one, to play.

I've no doubt he will. Just curious as to what DM feels he's lacking at the minute.

Look at Dundee Utd late header at Tannadice. Cant think that impressed DM much. Harsh but DM defends from the front.

DM needs a rethink if he wants Sabah Kerjota to defend corners

What’s evident is that he’s keeping more than 2 aces up his sleeve for the Christmas run in.

That was my one gripe in the Killie game, bringing on Forrest and leaving Kerjota on the bench. If anyone deserved minutes it was him after the last minute assist. DM obviously knows best but it did annoy me a bit 🤷🏻‍♂️
