Scott Leitch Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Just came on for his country. At least I think it's him 😂 On BBC 1
JimmyCant Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Came on for the other guy we are supposedly monitoring
steve123 Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Playing as a Centre Forward by the looks of it.
Scott Leitch Posted September 4, 2025 Author Posted September 4, 2025 Had 2 great chances. A header and a half volley. Also smashed into a Welsh player!
Whitecapjambo Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Looks a player. Good technique, aggressive, seems to be good off the ball too pressing and organising.

steinbeckjambo1874 Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Looks a handful - very promising and likes to run at players.

Luckies1874 Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Looks extremely sharp and very confident. Can't wait to see him in maroon. Will be a difference maker.
El Prez Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Seen enough there to be cautiously optimistic at his arrival.
meister Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 By the way he looks good !! what a difference he’s made since coming on, rapid, direct and he can handle himself. Me likey
Malinga the Swinga Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Chesnokov player part in transforming a poor Kazakhstan attack into one that had Wales scrambling to hold out. He was a massive improvement on Kenzhebek, that's for certain. Might have helped if both could have been on pitch at same time but out of two, I'd take Chesnokov every time
Texaco Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Even commentator said played well since came on. Looked strong. Willing to tackle.
neilnunb Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 First time I've seen him. Looks decent. Should be enough to take us to the title after the new year. 😁

DxB Hearts Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Okay he looks great. Was involved in absolutely everything they did as soon as he came on, had a couple chances and won the free kick right at the end that may have drawn the game. Looks athletic, can ping a pass, decent shot on him and pretty creative. Very excited by him.

A decent little 25 minute cameo for Chesnokov. Looks a good little player. Good technique but gets stuck in as well. Promising stuff.

Was their best player in the first half
Babertonhearts Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Have to ask why only sub, not sure about his role in "foul" at end, looks a footballer for sure.

Faster, more direct, more physical and created/caused more problems than other guy. Didn't realise that Kenzhebek had his own support group on here.

Sometimes with these foreign guys they are better as impact subs when there is more space to do there stuff 😁
BackOfTheNet Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Still can’t tell if he’s an inverted RW or central striker. Have only seen him play for Kazakhstan a few times, but he’s seemingly in central areas more than wide. Suppose would be a tricky one to mark, but certainly not going to provide out and out width. Looking forward to him coming and hope Kenzhebek joins him.

InternationalJambo Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 (edited) Whisper it but if this is the calibre of player Jamestown are turning out during our first proper window implementing it then we are in for a hell of a ride. Edited September 4, 2025 by InternationalJambo

Because it's common to hold back a tricky winger/ fast player untill later as they are more effective v tiring defenders and when the game is more open. From tbe start they can sometimes be lost in the blood and thunder and hectic pace.
JJ1984 Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Looks very good. Highly impressed with that.

No point thinking about him till he actually arrives, looks the ambitious type so will need to produce from start.
ramrod Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Today was the first time I've seen him and he was pretty impressive. Great touch ,moment and work ethics. Not to dissimilar to Kyzi. Will be a very good addition imo.
stevie1874 Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Watched last half hour of match on iPlayer and as others have said he seems a good team player with his work off the ball pressing and looks to have a fair turn of pace, touch and always looks to get forward. Looking forward to see him after January and think he’ll have no problem settling into Scottish football.
