Interest in Kenzebhek is real then

Plenty club's will want him in the team now.

Not part of Project X. Only thing in our favour, is a quiet word from Chesnokov.

I think he'll be away to a decent club in Europe tbqh.

The article actually sounds quite hopeful. Says that the player is extremely interested in a move to Britain, and Hearts have been in contact with his agent quite a few times.

Was thinking, if we get Kenzhebek on top of Chesnokov, and as the article states Hearts are looking for Kenzhebek to play on the left as competition to Kyziridis, we could produce two strong first XIs:

                                           Schwolow

Borchgrevink             Halkett          Findlay             Milne

                                  Ageu            McEntee

Chesnokov                                                           Kyziridis

                             Shankland      Braga

                                          Gordon

Steinwender           Kent                 McCart           Kingsley

                             Beni                 Devlin

Kerjota                                                              Kenzhebek

                         Kabore              Kabangu

See what happens. But I'd not be putting money on it.

Chesnokov's already on a hiding to nothing as it is, with expectations being ramped up with him. Same as Kabore to a lesser degree.

People will start blaming Hearts' Board if Kenzhebek chooses a better offer. As is his right.

Chesnekov is regarded as the better player, albeit he hasn’t started the last two internationals.

It’ll be the other way round if anything.

I'd wager like Chesnokov, already in the bank

Would be a weird one if true, trying to sign a player who just signed a 3 year contract. Would be a big fee required for that. Though reading the replies, one saying that Shankland's wife doesn't want to move and Kayserispor are trying to convince them. But suspect they have just linked players that have previously been linked with Turkey.

I expect we are forward planning from now on window to window trying to keep improving the quality of the team \ squad.  Any reactionary transfers will depend on injuries etc.  Obviously if Borch doesn't stay fit then RB becomes the priority.  Would actually like to see some cover at RB anyway.  With Forrester you would have thought that an up and coming young player would be ideal cover but the fact he's been loaned out when we are short doesn't hold much for his future at Hearts.

I think this will be absolute horseshit.

3 year deal and our captain, we'd be right to demand a premium fee

His Missus didn't like Belgium on that basis, Turkey will be a non-starter (Plus 3 young kids too)

Turkish clubs are shady AF about not paying bonuses - Just ask Zeefuik

Shankland has signed the extension to play under McInnes and enjoy his best years in Gorgie. I don't believe he'll have any interest moving to Turkey.

There's some sense in not moving too many in the summer. It's a much better time to buy.

January clubs are desperate. Hopefully we'll sell a fair few then, we've got the squad size to cash in.

Do you think we will cash in on Benni and Cammy?

Am I right to think they both have a year left and are free to negotiate free transfers in the January window, to leave in the summer.

Think new deals will be offered to both and Beni will leave and Devlin will stay another year

I do think the club have to make a decision on them. I do think Ageu has changed the game on the midfield. He will be first choice when picked, so means we have one space in the ideal formation we wish to play (4-4-2) to fight for. So next season if we were to extend Beni and Cammy's contract then you have those two, McEntee, Hof and Spittal still under contract, plus Tait coming back from loan. And thats only if we dont recruit anyone to raise the level of midfield.

May be controversal, but I could see both gone at the end of the season.

McInnes also said he wants his CM to be able to do a bit of everything…believe Ageu can defend and attack whereas Benni and Cammy are less prone to going forward.

If McInnes wants to play 4-4-2 the middle two have to be great quality.

Hopefully the upcoming window will be more about the outgoings than the incoming.
