He looked quality. Quick, strong, skillful and read the game well. Get him starting asap.

€2m Euro Brazilian comes on for Hearts and looks worth every penny. Feels like I woke up in an alternate universe. This isn't real life. 😂

Looks a very, very good find based on his cameo today. Looking forward to him driving our midfield forward this season.

Looks like a strong runner with decent pace but also very quick acceleration.

The type of player who will never hesistate to carry the ball forward and try something adventurous because he knows he can get back to cover if and when he needs to.

I'd be playing him in a 433/4213 just in front of Beni and either Magnusson/McEntee (someone with physicality and size).

Looks very athletic. Considering the type of game, the surface and the fact he only signed in past couple of days, it was an impressive cameo

Looks an absolute baller. Do we think he's the highest earner at the club?

Posted

He's a Hearts central midfielder.

He had a shot at goal.

That fact alone makes him priceless.

He looks like he's worth over a £1m, strong, very athletic and covers the pitch box to box very quickly. First signs are he's a baller for sure.

He was confident, composed, looked speedy and keen to run in behind. Very impressive introduction. Can’t wait to see him start.

Would start him with Beni in central midfield at Ibrox

We might actually be favorite on bookies going there

will be excellent - turned away from a player and bought a free kick at a crucial time - about 3 steps ahead of his hammer thrower victim

just on in the pssing rain on a plastic pitch with a relatively disgruntled fan base all around the ground and he strolled it - another day he could have had 2 goals

Said just that to my son, knew exactly what he was doing with that free kick , size pace and considering he most probably doesn’t know all his teammates names slotted right in , he will terrify defences in this league.

Thought he looked good when he first came on and I think he was playing a left attacking mid/left wing kinda position.

Lovely touch and got into good positions

Dropped back into midfield and put himself about well and got forward.

Might need to play in a 3 if we're goimg to get the best out of him and let him move into spaces and get up the park.

First start and he's played on the left  so DM can keep the Beni/Cammy combo in midfield,  aren't enough face palms in the world, lol

That’s what I was thinking until Kerjota came on for Beni.

Modern day football chat, 30 mins into his first start- how much ££££...

Posted

First impressions were he moves like a proper footballer.

Posted

My guess, if he has a good season, would be that we would look to sell next summer for £5m+

Posted

How much is a Rolls Royce these days?

Posted

Let's enjoy him if he turns out to be a player. The money chat is sad imo and also there were people on here adamant Rowles would leave for £5m etc so let's just wait and see how it goes.

To be completely honest, half of this place just cannot see beyond the Beni & Devlin combo. They just love it 🤷‍♂️

Watched Devlin closely today. He has the awareness to know that pass that needs played. Its not that he doesn't see it because he does. It's the execution of the pass that appears to cause him the fear that he can't make it and so the dithering starts and invariably we go backwards / sideways. How that's not been ironed out and developed is incredible because it's not an awareness ir lack of appreciation of what's around him. But he's terrified to attempt it for whatever reason.

We should tear the huns a new arse

Aye because we are tearing teams apart right enough 😂

The only way we will lay a glove on them at Ibrox is by playing our best XI from the start and putting them on the back foot.

Really uplifting comments on Hearts Standard interview with DM re our new addition....DM said when he watched the vids of him first off some 4 weeks ago he got James Maddison vibes re the impact the addition could make (not comparing their styles) to the team, also whilst the fee is heavy for us, he is on 'Hearts' wages.....seems blown away by the addition 😁

Can we sign another 10 million pound players and get rid of the dross haha and get a more attacking boss lol.

Sportscene pronounces his name as A goo

A small sample size but I liked what I saw. When he was through on the goalkeeper, my first thought was he had made an arse of trying to score. But when you watch it back, he was actually trying to play it to the side and leave Claudio Braga with a tap in. For me that was class. A lot of players would either have been greedy and gone for it themselves or they would not have even had the vision to see that Braga was there.

That’s what I saw from the highlights, Braga likely given him a shout too. Listening on the radio it sounded like it was an Iwelumo sitter, but when I watch it I just think he’s trying to be too precise with the finish, which I understand as two Livi players are racing across. A bad miss yes, but I don’t think it’s as bad as it was made out to be.

Will def be on the bench the next few games 😆

McInness said he was “on hearts wages” which to me makes me think whilst the fee was significant, his wages aren’t. Which is even better for us

Posted (edited)

Looks like he could be a massive signing for us even after a short appearance. Looks like he has all the attributes needed to be a top player.

Thought he took a few fouls today and just shrugged them off, hope this doesn't stop our refs giving him any protection from hammer throwers.

just saw the highlights - looks like he tried to pass to braga and the ball hit off his other (left) foot - that’s some awareness if so

Don't think it would have gone in anyway.  Both Livvy players were virtually on goal line.
