Great call by DM to move him over to left hand side. Suddenly more room and boosh.

Getting his name on the back of my third shirt just after he signed is proving to be a good investment.

I ****ing love him.

Could see him become our main man in attack. Loads to love about Braga but reckon Kyziridis has more ability. Got a bit about him on and off the pitch. Confidence. Looks comfortable either side and offers something different each side. Looks most dangerous in a front 3 where he’s getting the ball higher, closer to the box and in more 1v1 situations.

Does seem like the guys doing recruitment have finally clicked that pace and power matter. We have spent far too long filling the squad with technically good, slow players and filling the midfield with defensive minded players...

pace, power and a spend of 3M Euros + unknown fees on the top end.

Nope. Polluted the airwaves over in Britain, too.

After Braga getting such a good song, it'd be a real slap in the face for Kyziridis to have to suffer having a Will Smith tune.

Denying the brilliance of Smith's hip hop inflected pop. Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.

Kyzi got bullied in Paisley and Spittal had an excellent shift last week.

Would absolutely switch them now. Ageu in Spittal's place and Kyzi on as a true winger.

this is a myth

the whole team was absolute garbage for the majority of the first half in paisley and we had no control of the game - kyzi was given the ball about twice and did nothing with it - if Del hadn’t also given debuts to mags and kabore we might have had some control and kyzi would have probably seen more of the ball and been fine

despite his motm performance yesterday he lost possession at least twice which happens to anyone especially risk-taking wingers

that said due to the strength of the squad I’ve no issue with him being on the bench at the moment but also would have no issues playing him from the start against any set of hammer throwers in the league

Guid Scottish boys bog the game down at 0-0 then on 60 minutes boom the foreign boys come on and score the goals.

Wat a wonderful strategy.

We should be worrying less about what our opposition do, and make sure this guy is the first name on the team sheet every week.

You can see the literal panic he causes opposing players as soon as he’s playing.

We didn't look too worried for their goal, looked like naebdy gave much of a 5h1t

Is that what you're after?

I get the feeling he is trying to ease some of the new signings in and TBH that is no bad thing.

...

No doubt about it

We have to have a strong bench, there's a lot of Players but the reality is that a lot of them are not ready, in many ways

Average punter on here doesn't know the half of it and right now that's more true than ever; all sorts going on, window still open, Goalie issues meaning we're likely to concede, probably first before scoring ourselves

Classic back-seat driving on here, from people that know ****-all; I know of a guy that has a few tricks and he's in charge right now, fortunately :pimp2:

To me the answer's obvious but it's possible this little Will Smith ditty never hit in the UK like it did in the US so people don't know it.

Wingers are fickle players they will have bad games as well.
But for me he has to be in the team brings so much attacking threat. Seriously playing spittle in front of him is utter madness.

It’s the pure energy and enthusiasm he and Braga bring to our attack. We’ve been too slow and patient at that end of the pitch for a long time.

But did you go for Kyzi or splash out on the full 9 letters? That’s the real story here.

I have something brewing here I think. To the theme of Abba - Gimme Gimme Gimme:

Kyzi Kyzi Kyzi

our greek…something… winger

he can score the goals and take the…something…away

im sure others will be more capable of filling in the gaps and adding to it

The full name - £1 odd per letter, and he's got 2 numbers in his squad number, so it was the best part of £20 for a wee splash of vinyl!

Tell you what, typing his name into the wee box was the most nerve wracking experience I've ever had on that site. "Is that definitely spelled correctly?"

Fair play to DM master stoke switching Kyzi to left wing. Livi were just getting to grips on him when on he was on right so this gave him a new lease of life. Found a load of space he hadn’t had on right and boosh

He keeps telling McInnes seemingly that he is better on the left.I agree with what you said they were doubling and tripling up on him on the right after he tore them apart the first 15 mins of that half

Posted

By the way playing on the left he will score plenty of goals like that supremely confident as he said he knew before he hit it he was scoring it.Was like a Messi finish but on the opposite side.

The boy has got it.  Noticed Livi doubled up on him as soon as they realised how much chaos he was causing.

It's a shame the gaffer seems to likea challenge and waits till were losing or half time to put his best player on the park.

What a difference when he came on.

Every goal hes scored has been a superb, measured, intentional finish.

First thing he does is try to go forwards and has the skill to actually do something with the ball.

I think he’s already been involved in more goals than Alan Forrest managed in 42 games last season.

Bringing a good player, especially at winger of the bench is wise at times, sometimes early in the game it's too frantic and fast, so a guys like Kyziridis thrive v more tired players.

It's a squad game now and this " he has to start" is a bit too simplistic.

We do need to play a back 4  so our wingers can play their role, whether that be a 442, 433/ 451 - I don't know but it's becoming clear a back 4 suits us far more.

We've got good wide options and over 90 minutes it's great to replace like for like.

He's certainly a brilliant option coming off the bench but I just wonder how long he's going to be content to constantly be a substitute.

Can only assume that the physios or the analytics have seen a good reason not to give him 90 minutes. Or maybe we don't want him attracting offers before the window shuts...

Yip hopefully he realises this and starts playing more attacking football.
We are playing Livingston surely we should be setup to win and attack from the start.

It's certainly a thought-provoker. Like most things, I have theories that may or may not have any substance in reality.

I wonder if perhaps McInnes sees that he is a top player but wants him to show it more consistently or something. Or perhaps he's maybe not the hardest worker at training.

I'd be pretty surprised if this whole thing we have been doing 1st/2nd half is purely tactical. Hope the first XI settles soon, though.

Start him by all means but he doesn’t fit when we’re 5-3-2 IMO. His arrival and good contributions have been when we switched

I think (hope) we’re trying to veer towards a 4-3-3 so we can play at least one out and out winger and build the team and the play around and through Ague

That's where he played regularly in Slovakia, on the left.  We have another good winger who played on the right and we've got Chesnry in January.  Using wingers as subs can change the game or finish off other teams.  They're interchangeable.
