Glad you had a good time Sade (no 10) is always great to watch. If you didn’t see her goal against Rangers you should watch it…

That was very good. Probably set up to combat Hibs but more direct, less passing.

And after previously struggling, very much enjoyed playing at Tynecastle.

And full game replay now available (for 29 days) on IPlayer - Sportscene Scottish Women's Premier League.

Loving the goal music

we should sing that when Ageu scores

Strange technique from the Hibs keeper at the penalty, being a couple a feet behind the line when the ball was struck.  The idea of moving forward might be sound, but the timing was awful.

Very hard start to the season for them, results/performances should give them a bit of belief for the season

First Women's match that I'd been to today but I really enjoyed it.

Hearts women's team looks pretty good this season and in the second half they dominated Hibs.

Only found out recently that Hibs were SWPL league champions last season but it looks like the natural order is being restored now.

Great family occasion too with lots of kids and no swearing - going to look out for the women's team results from now on and would definitely go again.

Almost 5,000 there today as well which is a decent crowd.

Home to Motherwell at weekend then away to Glasgow City. We will then have played all of so called top teams in first round of fixtures.

5.000

You are being generous. Some of us were part of a home crowd of 2,500.

How is Mairead Fulton (sp?) doing? She was the big signing to replace some of the experienced players who left?

Brodie Greenwood has left Hearts by mutual consent. Think she only started once this season, has mainly been on the bench.

Do we have a smaller squad now than last season? Seems like quite a few teenagers have moved on and not too many signings either.

Yea, I may missed something (and didn’t try to capture loans/contract extensions), but here’s what I have got in terms of summer moves…

Out

Charlotte Parker-Smith

Addie Handley

Emma Brownlie

Lisa Robertson

Beth Rennie

Naomi Powell

Ashleigh Williams

Brodie Greenwood

Jess Broadrick

Kerry Beattie

In

Keri Halliday

Carolina Vilão

Carly Johns

Emma Thomson

Mairead (Maddie) Fulton

Also, just noticed that Charlotte Parker-Smith has signed for Sheffield United.

Yes, Charlotte P-S signed a one year deal and went straight into Sheffield United’s team on Friday night against Sunderland women.. Sadly,  didn’t look too great in a 0-4 defeat  on the basis of the bit of the highlights I watched.

Actually I was a bit surprised to see her in WSL2 in England. I’d assumed she was going to go part time with a smaller club combined with renewing her legal career.

Not looking positive for Hibs in Europa League qualifier first leg.

They're 2 down in under 10 minutes.

Weird one today obviously wanting Hearts to win but having a family member in the Motherwell squad who we also want to do well.

Bright start from Hearts. 1-0 with a tap in after initial shot came off the post.

Johns with the tap in from a Forsyth strike.

Also good to see the ref has an orange top on today I really don't understand why last weeks ref was all in black when we were all in maroon

She's been out for a long time so it's nice to see her being introduced slowly to first team.

Glasgow City away is next game. Hoping they'll be knackered after midweek Europa League qualifier.

Two down now.

I'm not having it from the commentators that this is a great goal.  It's basically poor goalkeeping, unfortunately.

Hearts women are a very poor side. No wonder they can’t entice fans to watch.

Not good .  Not good at all.  5-0.

Match stats say 11 shots to nil on 77 minutes.

Same as last season it seems. Able to turn it on for the derbies but can't do it regularly against the top sides.

Just seen today's result.

That's a right gubbing.

Is it time for a new manager.

Yes there has been improvements but that would come with the investment we have put into the team.

Strange that posters don't comment on decent results, can't even make any effort to post after we beat Hibs then appear immediately after we lose.

For the investment that this team get there’s very back in return

Here’s a question for you. Since the team were professional in 2022, how much further forward are they? And be honest here.

Hopefully with the change in leadership and vision with Bloom and others we’ll start to hold this part of our organisation responsible for their poor results over the last few years

How can anyone take them seriously when they continue to perform poorly in what in reality is a poor league with 4 professional teams

I would imagine the woman’s set up is part of the football department review
