It's 3-0 Hearts! Johns drives into the box and plays it to Sade who hits a curled effort past Yates!

It's four! Johns drove into the box, got a low strike away which was palmed away by Yates as far as Forsyth who was on hand to tap it home for 4-0!

I may be wrong but I think that’s the first time this season that one of the 5 “big” teams has dropped points to one of the rest. To make it even more pleasing, Montrose had two U-19 Hearts loanees playing - Ashley Robertson a starter and Olivia  Chomczuk on after 75 minutes.

Anyone have any idea on when Girasoli, Fulton and Richards are likely to be fit to play?

Not often you see matching goal difference and points but Hearts and Glasgow City both doing so.

Getting there.

Telly saying that has been our best performance against Glasgow city.

Like the men's team, onwards and upwards.

Gutted we cant take that final step and get points off Glasgow, has to be a mental block now. Saying that, the header to win it was something else.

They invested heavily in experience this summer whereas we stuck to plan of youth and steady progression.

We will get there though, no doubt about that

A good move as Charlton are leading WSL2.  I doubt we can match the ambitions of a club looking to play in a big league.

However is this a lack of ambition from Hearts?  Could we have held on to Lizzie until the end of the season as do the top two teams from the SWPL not go in the womens Champions League qualifying rounds?

First fee received for a player for Hearts Women?

You could look it like that but we have just signed a forward and have Girasoli an u23 Internationalist coming back from an ACL and the captain is back to full fitness with the Husband twins ready to play at wing back so it makes sense but let’s see if we go out and sign anyone else.

The women's team uses JTA, so you would assume that the fee maximises the return at this stage of her career. As OB says, we have good cover in there and we may well use the fee to strengthen the squad further.

I would say it highlights to any player that if you come to Hearts and do well, we will not stand in your way if an offer to move to a another club is received and a deal can be made. Might attract a few more players from down South or Europe to sign and showcase themselves knowing they are being watched.

Sean Burt (head of recruitment) is moving on, he has taken a role with Ipswich Town’s women’s team as their technical director. I wonder if he’ll get replaced like for like given our use of Jamestown.

I presume that's a compliment to his/clubs work in recruitment. Ipswich not exactly in their top women's League but clubs down South investing in women's game so can't blame him.

I look forward to seeing who we replace him with
