Gordon_1874 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Don't see a thread so thought I'd start one. For me realistically I'd want to see Kim Hellberg. Quote

Fraggle Posted April 26 Posted April 26 The current board needs to go first, before we make any appointment. I wouldn't trust them. Quote
Philfigo Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Who ever it is simply must be allowed to bring there own full backroom coaches in and empty out all that have been involved with us over last year. Quote
Drylaw Hearts Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) If Critchley was top of the pops the last time someone pushed the button…….will we be now moving further DOWN the list of best candidates? Or…….. Do we show real ambition for a change? We haven’t done that in 20 years…..George Burley. Edited April 26 by Drylaw Hearts Quote
BlingCrosby Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) I hope we dedicate some serious cash to this. For too long we’ve been shopping in the bargain bin for coaches. I understand that we can recruit players with flaws that can work in our system, but that just doesn’t work with coaches. We need an all rounder who can take us to the next level. Edited April 26 by BlingCrosby Quote
Bender Posted April 26 Posted April 26 We should be as ambitious as possible with the next man. We won't though. Quote
Rick Sanchez Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Got to imagine we'll need 3 points before we can secure a new manager of the calibre we'd like. Even Chesnokov will be waiting. Quote

Captain Holt Posted April 26 Posted April 26 If it was up to me I would promise it to Fox till end of campaign. In the meantime throw the cash at Ross County to try land Don Cowie for next season whether it’s championship or premiership. However there’s no point speculating as it will be whoever Bloom and co approve, and judging on Critchleys reputation when he got the gig it won’t be someone any of us will know of. Quote
GinRummy Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Some unemployed nobody who is a complete stranger to success. Will be cheap though. Quote
manaliveits105 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 We need to wait on the weegia drawing up their mates list and letting the bookies know Quote
jimmy the jambo Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Shelley Kerr temporarily just to stir & wind up the fans Quote
ramrod Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Will be Liam Fox after going 4 games unbeaten till the end of the season Quote
Gorgiewave Posted April 26 Posted April 26 These odds were quoted in the Hearts Standard the last time: Alex Neil - 2/1 Stephen Robinson - 9/4 Arnar Gunnlaugsson - 3/1 Derek McInnes - 7/2 John McGlynn - 4/1 Tiernan Lynch - 5/1 Kim Hellberg - 6/1 David Martindale - 8/1 Craig Levein - 10/1 Barry Robson - 14/1 Quote

Polonia Gorgie Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Marek Papszun, the guy has an excellent record with Rakow Czestochowa. He might be willing to take us on with JTA Quote

OTT Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I don't know who I want. I do know I want a manager with a bit about them. Someone who will demand high standards, not just meekly ask for them. Quote

Absolutely disconnected from the lifeblood of the club who built the club, the fans Quote

Boab Mugabe Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Doesn’t really matter so long as Dr Budge makes the call on who is appointed. If she makes the decision it will be someone else not up to the task of managing this football club. Quote
indianajones Posted April 26 Posted April 26 A proper horrible task master please. No shite required. Just a ******* that knows what he's doing. Quote

Hogmo was top Quote
151 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Probably in the minority, as most fans probably want to go further afield but I would genuinely rather we just went back to basics and got someone in who can steady it on a 3 to 5 year plan. A McInnes or Robinson type of guy who knows the league, typically sings battling hard working players with the odd bit of technical ability thrown in and just gets points on the board. With our budget these guys would probably be a good short to mid term solution. Another experimental appointment could go horribly wrong. Quote

Philfigo Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Some serious questions will be asked of the board that last time said that the analytics will play a massive part in the choice of manager. What will the super computer say this time? Think the board need to change the filters on the next search. Quote
OmiyaHearts Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Hard to get excited about who's next. Wrong people making the decisions. Sacking two managers in one season is humiliating for the board and club. Quote
