Are we the product of a computer simulation from some far flung civilisation ? Are concepts of the multiverse really just simulations being run side by side ? Is "God" actually a wee guy in a basement in the year 5000 mucking around with his PlayStation 300 ? It's an intriguing question. But if you look at the advances in computer science over the last 30 years then project forward thousands of years it also becomes a distinct possibility. What do you mean by DNA looks like computer code?

I agree, longevity or 'healthspan' needs to be healthy years. Ideally rewinding the clock and repairing the damage to the DNA telomeres that is induced by oxidation, stress and copy errors. With CRISPR and stem cell development or, further away, nanobots repairing DNA and cleaning arteries inside your body, it might not be that fanciful. I don’t think it’s the fanciful at all too . Interesting stuff . But no Sure if I’d want to live a couple hundred years ! I feel like the 1970s was centuries ago . It feels so alien to me now . A really Long time ago . What do you mean by DNA looks like computer code? Similar I should say conceptually. It's obviously not Java etc. But there is structure, logic, programme language all present that at a stretch could be argued is evidence of a self compiling intelligence that we are yet to grasp.
