I’ve watched the penalty incident a couple of times although have to admit the camera is pretty poor for picking up what actually happened. It looked as if the st j player pulled down cammy then he did the same to the st j player. If so, free kick to us or play on (if not sure). I don’t think it was conclusive therefore shouldn’t have been given. However we won!

Yes I agree totally with your first sentence and think it certainly applies to you. Did you hear Critchley talking about Beni in his after match interview and how he wanted and tried to sign him for Blackpool while Beni was at Everton. This was because of his experience of seeing Beni whilst a youth coach at Liverpool.

 

I would think if anyone was qualified to make a call on Beni's commitment to play and dedication to play as many games as he can then I would be trusting our new Manager before you.

 

Beni was out of contract remember and could no doubt have moved to any number of clubs in England but he decided to stay at Hearts and signed a new deal.

 

He has been unlucky with injuries but has come back and shown a real tenacity to try and reach the level he was at prior to those injuries and is making great headway towards that.

 

As I said previously I think there are a number of players you could be singling out with the trait you are tarnishing Beni with but you seem to ignore them.

 

Beni is contracted to Hearts until May 2026 and if he leaves the club it will be because someone has made a good bid for him not because our Manager wants rid of him.
