SomethingAboutObua
Folk suggesting Docherty do they not realise he's got an much experience in management as Naismith? Batistuta87
Could we aim as high as someone like Kasper Hjulmand? Jan Siewert? Claudio Ranieri? Raphael Wicky? Gary Rowett? Gareth Ainsworth? Tony Pullis? Jurgen Klinsmann? Fabio Cannavarro? Frank de Boer? Let's go mental 😂

skacel103
Liam fox is my worry. We sack Naismith after losing a last minute goal to st mirren. We then appoint him as interm. Win the next 3-4 games. Then the club give him the job until end of season. Seriously I'd rather keep Naismith on that situation. If we replace him as manager it needs to be an experienced manager. PapaShango
At this point I just want him gone. Starting a left back at right back today was shocking. We have created hardly a thing all season, form continues like this and we are going down. This has the feeling of the Levein / Stendel season. OTT
1 minute ago, Lord Montpelier said: I do like Paulo. But he did just get fired for relegating a team. Its a very black/white way to look at it - Is the team he was managing not a bit of a yo-yo team anyway? Managed them for 4 years, and kept them up for most of that. Until, like Martindale, he eventually ran out of road. Basically the Portugese Livi

Started this season well after a successful last season for them. The board set their stall out by sacking Nelson for looking like he wasn't getting 3rd, so they have set the level. 6 losses on the trot with no sign of improvement or any hard luck stories must have them asking the question. Bad momentum is hard to arrest in this league. Feels like we got a Barry Robson esq season long bounce alongside a second incredible season from Shanks. We have neither this season. Bongo 1874
Stendel could work in time, but given the players currently no chance, again Naismith does deserve to go. But any new guy coming in has the same players. Knutsen would tell the board how it is,and would be really tough on players that don't meet his playing style and demands. He's also big on youth. Drylaw Hearts
If we are going to continue to penny pinch and sign free transfer journeymen from bottom 6 clubs then McInnes will get a tune out of these type of players. If we are going to properly invest in the men’s first team…..let’s be ambitious and look a bit further than Craig Leveins contact list. DB1874
Someone with experience, who gets to bring in his own team and not have McAvoy and Forrest foisted on him. I can't be the only one wondering if the 3 at the back, endless rotation, possession based nonsense we also saw under Robbie is due to their influence, especially Forrest. Naismith publicly slaughtered that style of play, and here he is, producing the exact same as he heads towards the sack.

To be fair, they are an interesting club, they weren't even in the top league to start with. And he's taken them to new heights. We need someone that will demand high standards, again he may struggle with the current players, but he's a coach i would be prepared to give time, knowing his success at Bodo. jambo1975
Unfortunately if we have to pay out the ridiculous extended contract we are more likely to be able to afford Radio dj Chris Moyles than actually accomplished manage David Moyes! But hey we are the biggest club owned club in the country so it's all good
