Right then; assuming the board make a decision over the coming days, who would everyone like? Scottish manger? English manager? Something different?

A German.

Or Paul Lambert.

Maybe McInnes.

Something different, a manager with experience from abroad. The same route Aberdeen have gone down.

Posted

We need something different, we need someone imo with no connections to us or Scottish Football.

i have zero faith in the ability of this board to find the right person.

If Naismith goes can some one please lock all corridor doors.

Someone outside the usual pish names we get linked with

I like the cut of the jib of the new Aberdeen manager, just knew he would do well. There must be experienced managers hanging about other European leagues who speak good English and would love a shot at the conference league. I would see if Paulo Sergio wants to come back. He could hit the ground running and would have goodwill from most fans.

Something like this, all recent managers of ours have been carbon copies in terms of style of play and unable to take ownership

Be as well keeping him with some of the names folk are rattling off 🫢

A forward thinking manager with new ideas. No connection to Scottish football.

+1 for Alex Neil. Sometimes the obvious thing to do is the best thing to do.

An experienced manager from abroad with a different perspective. I’ve had enough of the project managers.

Feck you forgot to add Capt caveman Scott Brown to that list.

Anyone who doesn't spell or pronounce their name as 'Liam Fox'.

In my dreams David Moyes.

In reality Alex Neill.

Every suggestion on this thread is horrible

Posted

Whoever it is must be able to motivate a team and want to play attacking football. None of this possession for possessions sake turgid stuff we’ve had to suffer for years now.

Why not bump one of the numerous threads discussing exactly the same thing?

Would like someone with experience and no connections to Scottish Football ,

Dreaming as couldn't afford wages but Graham Potter would be nice

Foreign.

Stendel was a disaster but that shouldn’t put us off.

Due diligence from the board interviews and pick the best option. No more the guy along the corridor or cheap as chips option.

We get rid of Savage and McAvoy and then appoint their messiah. Hmm.

Make the change now and don’t throw the new man under the bus when it’s got even worse being we’re mired in bad form and half a season in.

I like your thinking.

Someone mysterious, with a sexy name.

Stendel was foreign but we shouldn't let that deter us. Stendel isn't every foreign manager who has ever been, or ever will be.

Bongo aff JKB.

Or Robert Snodgrass.

Posted

45 or under

Not been anywhere near the Scottish game and it’s archaic tactics

European management experience if possible

Good English

Thats my requirements

Who exactly is going to appoint this new manager?

We have no DoF or Sporting director whatever Savage was. No one seems to bothered about this but we failed to deliver in the transfer window again, we failed to secure our prize striker on a new deal and now folk are screaming for a new manager.

Maybe time McKinlay came out of hiding again!

What's wrong with that? His side play good football on a shoestring budget.

NO.

I'd take McInnes but I'd prefer a non-UK manager tbh.
