Not related to tonight but I was in Sindelfingen at the weekend to watch the European Darts Grand Prix. It was part of my son’s birthday treat. 
 

I feared the worst when Gilding got to the final. All that way to watch Goldfinger lift the trophy 🙈🤣 thankfully Anderson had other ideas. 
 

Had tickets for the Friday afternoon, Saturday afternoon and Sunday night. Really good venue - nice and compact, games were short and sharp, cracking atmosphere and a good outcome in the end. Can highly recommend it if you want to watch darts outside the UK.

I think Gary Anderson and Peter Wright averaged mid 70s they were awful but Van Veen and Knoppert were quality. The Germans were brilliant v the Lukes

Northern Ireland are the dark horses for the tournament apparently, not paid much attention in the run up, Wales with Price and Clayton must have fancied another one nevermind now that The MBE’ers are gone

Strange thing to me to give the two Lukes MBE’s what about Anderson and Wright, multi time World Champions etc, i know Littler’s taken the game by storm and brought new people to the game but hardly seems justified.

Not sure what went on with the English. Did the two Luke's have a fall out? They are usually mates but seemed a bit 'off'. Also Littler walking off without  Humphries. 🤔

I think he was pissed at his own performance rather than Humphries and just wanted out of there, dont think it was much more than that. Hes still only 18 aswell i think that needs remembered. Seen people saying online that he was like a petulant child and he should be acting professionally. He shook hands and got out of there, Humphries is 30 hes won the World Cup before too, the hype on the two of them, an mbe etc you can understand why he wasnt playing his best and its Germany hes not played great there in the past apparently.
