In fact, don't the MPs whittle the list down, then leave it to a few thousand Tory members?

an liar, who has done nothing but lie to the population of Scotland in an effort to secure independence.

The absolute worst kind of person, intelligent enough to know the damage she can cause.

and let’s not play whataboutery- I’m fully aware other parties are infested by the same rats.  None of them are able to pull off the “I’m trustworthy” lie like this person.

I think comparing Nicola Sturgeon to those “governing” in Westminster is absolutely fair.

When it comes to lies, deceit and incompetence, how can anyone think Sturgeon is anywhere near that level?

The SNP leader needs to be at Holyrood rather than Westminster therefore almost certainly Angus Robertson will be the leading candidate.

Great, especially after the shambolic mess he made of the census!

"Had enough", seemingly.

Probably ground down to a breakdown having to tolerate the absurd snash of DRoss and Sarwar.

Perhaps tying herself in knots trying to explain why a woman was placed in a men's prison broke her?

Hagar the Horrible

She wanted out for about six months. This stinks of being pushed. She was the power but the gender reform Bill was her poll tax. She was clever enough to know its better to remain in the fight than finally lise the war. The craziest of the party can't see that.

Not even sure I've got that right, I think it's party members that vote.

isn't that for leader of a party rather than PM?

from a quick google it looks like since it is rare for a hung parliament the leader of whatever party has a majority becomes defacto PM and how each party determines its leader is different for each party

Wasn't it a male rapist being put in a womens prison just because he had started identifying as a woman?

For the last 2 or 3 years I have started to change my opinion on independence. However, incould never vote for a party with Sturgeon in charge. In my opinion she is as trustable as Boris was as PM. Get someone trustable to replace her and I know exactly where my next vote will go.

Joanna Cherry would have been formidable but the SNP blocked her possible return to Holyrood.

You'd still be British given that the island we inhabit is, er, Great Britain.  In much the same way that, despite BREXIT, we're still European.

Plenty of non British people inhabiting these islands, less than before Brexit obviously. Identity is a personal thing, not geographical.

A lot is my guess! The cashflow of the SNP being investigated looks dodgy to say the least.

There's a skill to quiting at the right time.  Gordon Brown should have quit as PM at least a year before that election that's given us 13 years of Tory rule and counting.

Nah Broony should have called a snap election as soon as he took over, then he'd get an additional 4 years with a personal mandate and block any accusations of being an unelected PM.

Some may be happy with this, some may be sad But you just need to look at the current landscape to see just how poor our political "leaders" are Cameron, May, Bonking Boris, Rishi Rich...whether you agree with her politics is one thing but "wee nippy" Sturgeon pished all over the alleged statesmen in Westminster

Be careful what you wish for
