Hearts are rampant Posted July 30, 2022 Share Posted July 30, 2022 (edited) The sort of job where you will never keep everyone happy, as the make up of the support (young, old, male, female, some going to game just after finishing work, some going for out after game etc) means you will never satisfy and cover music tastes to people’s liking. Main jobs are announcing team line ups, goal scorers etc. I liked Scott Wilson and though the new guy today did a decent job too. I get the points re if certain speakers in stadium are too loud, no clear etc, but I wouldn’t say that’s down to the announcer, more the stadium/facilities needing fixed.
