In what way? Or are we now restricting ourselves to the simian-like flinging of shite without any explanations at all.

It's not something that is worth entering into a debate over, red.  You and I are perfectly capable of being polite with one another, despite obvious differences on social, economic, international, and moral issues.  There is nothing I could say that would change your mind on any of those things, and the same is true in the opposite direction.

God speed.

So you are not going to explain the toxic turds comment then, just put it out there for people who agree with it to think how clever you are.

I don't think you get my point. You've slung some invective in the direction of the SNP and the Greens. Now you never know, I personally might agree with some of it, particularly as regards the Greens, but you have provided zero substance to your invective. It's facile. I don't want to change your mind or you to change anyone else's. However, at the very least you have to provide some substance, some flesh, to your attack. Otherwise we'll all just sit here shouting "Farage is a *****!", "The Greens are *****!", and so on until we're all blue in the face, like children hurling insults through a school fence. I'm sure that you have more to you than that.

Labour losing a seat in Wales, especially in South Wales. Should(but I don't think it will)

have the alarm bells ringing in downing Street.

I wonder with the way South Wales looks to be turning into a battleground between Labour/Plaid vs Reform if there was some tactical voting from Labour voters who knew their candidate was humped.

Reform are very popular down there. In many ways Wales feels more divided than Scotland when it comes to politics despite the last 15 years up here being dominated by constitutional questions.

The coming local elections are going to be a slaughter.

Sir Keef will probably be out on his ear.

The problem is that there is really nobody to replace him that the party will rally around. New New Labour have somehow managed to immediately run out of talent.

The people are demanding change. Any change. Even if it's Deform's jackboot fascism.

Because "business as usual" is no longer an option.

But that is all that New New Labour are offering.

So someone is going to have to offer real, meaningful change otherwise the UK will end up like the USA. A total basket case.

Yes, Reform. A shower of tory rejects headed up by ethnic english nationalist scumbags. Would never vote for ANY english party in Scotland anyway, we're not england.

Hard to disagree with any of this.

Caerphilly again showing how inaccurate polls can be:

Poll a week ago:

Reform 42%
Plaid 38%

Result:

Plaid 47%
Reform 36%

Posted

36% in a devolved parliament election beside a very strong nationalist party campaign is a pretty good indicator for Reform.   They'll be fairly happy with that.

To an extent. They seemed confident they had it in the bag.

Polling much lower up here but will easily hoover up 15/16 seats in the lists.

Only thing I wonder is if those same polls tilted a portion of Labour towards Plaid to keep Reform out. Effectively this by-election had become a run between them.

I mean it would take a lot for me to vote SNP up here but I'd do it if the alternative was Reform. There'll be a lot of Welsh voters adopting that same view.

Keef & Co have until May to pull their heids oot their arses.

Can't see it happening by then.

Labour needs to be looking for a new Leader ready to step into the breach now.

He most certainly is! Can't stand him or Labour. I used to vote for that shower on the naive thoughts they cared about Scotland and the "working man"!

When you have the northern Labour MP's saying that London Central is not even communicating with them properly how in the name of the wee man does anyone think the party decision makers even know Scottish Labour exists.

Rather they got trounced everywhere.
Let them see what the country thinks of them.
Absolute scumbags.

Mr Toad (MP for Clacton) got a vote in Parliament to leave the EHCR.

Sir Keef told Labour MPs to abstain.

Labour MPs told him to shove that up his arse.

Sir Keef then told them that ok you *can* vote against, if you so wish.

Every Labour MP then voted against.

Motion defeated by a majority of 58, split along party lines.

Deform, Tories and DUP voted for.

Labour, LibDem, Green and SNP voted against.

2 tier Kier protecting another honest mistake by a high profile Labour cabinet minister.

Aren't we fortunate Rachel Reeves made an honest mistake renting her property and not needing the required licence.

Imagine how bad the country would be if Labour's politicians weren't so honest, and definitely not corrupt and above the law.

While retaining responsibility for her admin,  the omission was made by the letting agent managing the rental of her property.   She's the Chancellor of the Exchequer therefore probably a bit pre-occupied by that rather than marking the homework of her letting agent.

A bit of perspective is often useful.   In the grand scheme,  it barely even qualifies as a non-story.

The Badenoch headbanger has had plenty to say. The same one that said nothing when Spaffer had two ethics advisors resign over the sheer volume of his nonsense.

Apparently it's over 900 quid.

It's emblematic of UK politics right now.   People losing their dignity over a Selective Rental Licence that a letting agent didn't apply for.

Your defence of the Labour party is nauseating.

Doesn't matter if it's £900 or £9000 quid. It wasn't a letting agent that didn't apply for it either, it was her.

If people rationalised away Tory misdemeanours you'd be all over them

1.   I'm not defending the Labour Party.   I'm commenting on a specific thing concerning an individual person.

2.  Nauseating.

Well certainly if it’s your preferred party in power making “wee mistakes”😐

Nothing to see here.

Reeves can now move on and get back to hammering the British public into the ground😊

I’m sure she won’t forget anything there.
