The often mentioned thing about modern sportsmen being better as they are fitter doesn’t really mean anything though as if Nicklaus etc had played in the modern era he would also be using modern training techniques and equipment. Watson should have seen out another Open win at 59 in 2009 too. If Tiger's leg can hold out, he still has the game to win another. No chance. Woods is the greatest to pick up a golf club, absolutely no question, he could hit any shot, shots that most top pros couldn't play, at his best he had the ball on a string.
