Tiling Advice

We have removed self adhesive vinyl mosaic tiles from between or work top and kitchen units as we are going to use proper tiles.

Removing them has left us with a coat of black residue which is an absolute b'stard to remove, it's not thick it's almost like a coat of paint.

Will it be ok to rub this with sandpaper, prime it and just bash on with the tiling on top of it?

TIA.

Probably want an electric sander as I know the stuff you are on about and it's thick and sticky as feck. Would surely just "clog" up sandpaper if done by hand.

My advice is hire someone to do it.

I tiled once and i'll never do it again 😅

Good luck though!

I agree.

If you can afford it get someone else to do it.
