For me it was the 3rd v hibs.

Cochranes footwork on the wing

:HeartsManspotrun:

McKay's back heel pass...

:ruiner:

Hallidays strike ( after them singing about him) ....

:omfg:

Liquid football all round...

:yas:

3-1  to confirm our thrid place and them to bottom 6.

:glorious:

Kingsleys semi final free kick.

Would have been a billion times sweeter if we'd won the final, but should go down on any compilation of goals against the hobos

Just a big time goal and opened the scoring.

Simms goal was a strike that made you jump and shout "Get ****ing in there!"

Then Kingsley scores a strike of sublime quality that made you shout in disbelief "What a ****ing goal!"

Kingsley freekick in the semi.Honestly if that was from one the top leagues in Europe it would be getting shown non stop on every channel and social media platform it was that good.

Kingsley semi final goal was just football porn for me.

Simms goal was good though.

Also Kingsley free kick against st midden (I think) was good but not nearly as important

Kingsley’s is in my collection of goals I’ll never tire of seeing.
There’s plenty of them, including:

Archie Gemmill

Stephen Kingsley

James McFadden (Paris)

Maradona (pretty much any goal he scored!)

John Robertson’s opener at Tannadice. Just wish his goal v Hibs in Sep 1983 had been on telly.
Gary Mackay in Sofia.

Funnily enough I’m left footed and all of those goals were left foot strikes or by a predominantly left footed player. No bias there. If Craig Gordon ever scores a goal…🤯

I agree with all of the above, however I think Barrie MacKay's goal against Livingston is worth a mention.

Kingsley’s semi final goal obviously. Not great goals as such, but I loved Devlin’s goal in Paisley and Halkett’s late leveller at Ibrox

Both the semi goals are unreal but I loved Woodburn's half-volley lob against Dundee United. Disappointing we didn't see more of that from him but it was a technically brilliant goal.

Simms in the semi for me. To strike a ball that sweet and hard whilst running and maintain pinpoint accuracy is something hardly any other striker in the league can do.

Kingsley a very close second if only because it was about the 5th time we’d seen him do it

And he wasn't offside a min before this.  Thanks to Hibs screwing up the resulting free kick 😀🍾

Barrie v Livi for me. Sublime finish.

That's the one for me. Most players would have tried to melt it towards goal. To sidefoot it the way he did, genius.

One of the most significant goals was Souttars header in the opening game against Celtic. His, and the teams overall performance and belief that night set a standard for the season.

We did score several excellent team goals, but the best one has to be Kingsley v Hibs in the semi.

Kingsley's goal was sublime in the semi final however, Simms goal for pure adrenaline was a thing of beauty.

Never tire of watching them, even sweeter as it was against the vermin.

When you pause Kingsley's goal at about 3 seconds it's absolutely amazing to see how many players are between him and the goal.  Seriously if this comes from Messi's foot the whole world are raving about it.

I was one of the lucky 5,000 at the opening game.  The atmosphere and celebrations when Souttar scored were amazing.  I agree it set the tone for our season.

Stephen Kingsley's Hampden goal is, in my opinion, the best goal Hearts scored last season. The ambition to attempt that in such a big game was incredible, but to guide the ball in from that distance from the lay off, from which the ball was bobbling about a wee bit, was just amazing.

A piece of skill that, whilst wildly celebrated, we have kind of come to expect from Stephen.

All good shouts.

Kingsleys was the best strike and McKay v livi was just beautiful( not sure many players in UK can pull that type of technique off, never mind Scotland), but I tend to go for team goals, one's that involve passing and a few players  as opposed to the terrific strikes.

Both semi final goals were crackers tho.
